Restaurante Lorenzillo's Ratings and Reviews
Felicidades!
We picked this restaurant based on the reviews here and on TripAdvisor. The caesar salad (prepared tableside) was excellent. We also enjoyed the crab cakes. Otherwise, the food was unimpressive and/or inedible. The "local grouper" had the consistency of London broil, and yes, I know how grouper is supposed to taste. Our scallops were delivered to the table raw. The lobster thermador was decent, but it seemed the kitchen just used extra cheese to mask the flavor problems in the dish. The staff was great, but that did not compensate for the mediocre food. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant.
Had a great round table for party of 7. Only drawback was heat from staff leaving outside door open behind table. Chilean sea bass delicious but too pricey. $60 + versus $25+ for local grouper. We had apps, entrees and dessert plus cocktails. A great evening!!
The food was outstanding, service and team working are amazing and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant and this place gave us the opportunity to experience new thing as a newly married honeymooners. Picking an alive lobster and the seating outside on the ocean deck was stunning.
We booked for my husbands birthday and we're not disappointed. The seafood was delicious and my husband had steak , also delicious. We had a nice surprise for his birthday they brought a cake with candles and all sang ! Expect to pay good prices but for something special it is a must to visit when in Cancun!!
Was in Cancun for a vacation with my family. This is one of the few good restaurants in Cancun that serves fresh fish and lobster.
The food is excellent. Service was average as I had to remind waiter to bring bread and butter several times.
There are live crocodiles and huge tarpan fish in the lagoon. The waiter said that lagoon feeds into the ocean, however, crocodiles never leave the lagoon (which appears like a big swamp).
We had lobster, Stone Crab Claws and fried calamari. They were delicious. Not a big fan of the cilantro sauce. We should have just ordered the original broiled listers. But the service was great and try the Signature dessert with espresso! Overall very good sea food place!
