About Restaurante Lorenzillos Los Cabos
Restaurante Lorenzillos Los Cabos is a Mexican seafood restaurant built directly on the corner of the local marina. This gives Lorenzillos two key features. First, all of the seafood that the kitchen serves is as fresh as possible, since it was caught in the waters right outside Lorenzillos' doorstep. The second is diners are treated to the tranquil views of the water by the marina, an ideal location to enjoy a delicious dinner or sip a glass of wine. Lorenzillos' menu highlights its love of seafood with dishes like stuffed grouper, scallop and shrimp over linguine and huge live lobster.

Restaurante Lorenzillos Los Cabos Ratings and Reviews
We went to Lorenzillos to celebrate our daughter's 40th birthday on September 14th. She wanted lobster and we wanted a special dining experience but ultimately our dining experience was less than favorable. We first sat outside but the flies got so bad we had to go inside - no one's fault but was a disappointment. We started with the lobster bisque which was fishy and watery. It lacked depth of flavor or any recognizable pieces of lobster. My daughter ordered a lobster tail with garlic butter but it wasn't sweet nor tender. I ordered the sea bass which I expected to be a loin but it was a filet which would of been fine; however, it wasn't trimmed well and also had a less than desirable taste. I should of returned it because it smelled fishy when it was delivered to our table but I didn't - my fault. My husband had the Cajun red snapper which was uneventful. After $365.00 later including drinks, wine and dessert we left unsatisfied and incredibly disappointed. We come to Cabo every year in January and we have dined at Lorenzillos before and had good food but we were extremely disappointed in the quality of food this time. However, I must add the service was impeccable and they did do a very nice celebratory dessert presentation. Needless to say the meal we had looked forward to at the onset of our arrival to Cabo left us sadly dissatisfied and an evening we can't recreate.
This was my second time dining here and I was slightly disappointed. Besides being up-sold during the ordering process, the food just was not that good. We sent back a few dishes that were inedible. Their location is great, just next to the marina, but I won't be back.
Made last minute reservations and wanted to get some lobster for my wife. The service was fantastic. I had El Temporal, which is like a Mexican cioppino. My wife got the lobster tacos. Both dishes were great. We shared a clam chowder which was served in a French bread bowl. Interesting it wasn't in a sour dough bread bowl. But was still very good.
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! Our waiters words were "you can play with the menu" so we ordered lobster and filet and it was the most excellent meal. The sauces and the sides were great. Not for people looking to eat cheap but very well worth it if you want a 5 Star meal with the service to match!
Staff was very friendly, the beer was cold and tasty, but the 3-pound $150 lobster we ordered was terribly overcooked and dry, nearly inedible. The manager comped our meal and was very gracious and apologetic but we left hungry and disappointed. If you order broiled lobster ask them not to overcook it.
The food was fantastic. The service was great! This was our 50th anniversary, and they made a special dessert for us and wrote "Happy 50th Anniversary" in chocolate around the plate. The atmosphere of the outdoor dining area was great. We had a nice view of the marina. We will go back every time we visit Cabo in the future.
After searching for the best lobster in Cabo, we stumbled across this place. All of the reviews raved about their lobster so my sister and I went for her birthday. The king crab leg appetizer was really good, the oysters rockerfeller were not impressive at all. And sadly the lobster tail (that we paid $70 something USD for) was overcooked! It was chewy like rubber. All of the wait staff were friendly but I didn't come to spend $300 on charm. I wanted good seafood. Save your money and make reservations at The Office instead. Half the price and the food is FANTASTIC!!!!
I'll keep it short and sweet. Lorenzillos provided the best service and food I've ever experienced. For my wife and I, the bill came out to about $150 before tip, which included an appetizer, desert and two bottles of wine. Expensive, but deservedly so. I highly recommend, especially for a special occasion. I can't remember the name of the dish I had, but it was a filet mignon stuffed with shrimp, lobster and mushrooms. Absolutely delicious.
I've seen this place for decades and never tried it because it was perceived as too expensive. It was expensive ($65 each) but we had an amazing celebratory dinner... Must try the habanero lobster, or the lobster taco.. It's more like a burrito. Amazing experience overall.
We went to Lorenzillos by the Marina area of Cabo San Lucas upon the recommendation of a friend. The food was average, service was good. Our table on their rooftop terrace looked over the main street. Lobster was over $50 a pound; we did not order it. Our entrees were pricey and we did not feel a good value for the money.
