Food was fantastic! I would definitely recommend their brunch.
THis place is fabulous! I never even heard of it before but I certainly am happy that I found this place!!!!! Osso Buco is the BEST!
My husband's meal was extremely undercooked. Had to wait to eat until his 2nd entree was prepared. Not impressed.
I ordered the chile rubbed pork belly eggs benedict. The first dish I got was cold. I asked the waiter if it could just be heated up, and he took it back and brought me a fresh one. It was still luke warm, and the pork belly had not flavor. The potatoes were seasoned with something that made them very bitter. I do have to say the 506 bloody cesar was amazing and is highly recommended. However, for the price, I feel that there are better options for food out there for the cost of meal.
Separate dining rooms provided cozy, quiet experience. Menu was diverse with something for everyone. Wait service was attentive and genuine. Sunday brunch was our first visit, but were definitely going back for dinner. A unique dining experience in Arlington.
Amazing food! Ordered the scallop dish - they even had a palette cleansing sorbet between the appetizers & main entree!
The property was beautiful, the food was plentiful and very tasty. I wished they would have offered the lunch menu as well as the brunch menu but it was still very good. My friend and I were confused as to which door to use to enter so we went for the door with the "open" sign and we walked into a room with a large party seated. It looked like a brides maid luncheon but we quickly left that room and found a hallway that took us to the front entrance with a hostess that seated us right away. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. Overall a nice visit with my friend.
My husband and I went here for our 15th anniversary. We arrived early to sit at the bar and have a drink (or two) before dinner. I tried the Jalapeno Mango Martini and the Blood Orange Bellatini. Both were very delicious. We then went in for dinner and since it was a Thursday night there were fewer patrons. The restaurant had saved us a cozy table in the window so we could look out (although it was dark so you couldn't see much past the porch). We had the lamb pop and brussel sprout appetizers, both were delicious. My husband who does not like brussel sprouts said if they always taste like this he would eat them all the time. We both had the ribeye and I asked for risotto instead of potatoes. We finished with some dessert and they gave us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We did take plenty of food home as the portions were a good size.
If looking for a restaurant for a special occasion, this is one to try. I have been there for lunch too and that is also worth trying.
We always enjoy the Sanford for the tasty menu, ambiance, and service . The staff is well trained and it shows in their excellent service.
How I wish that when building this cozy spot more room was allowed between tables in order to add privacy and intimacy. It’s just way too crowded !!!!!
The lunch menu is a little limited. Would love to see a chicken salad not as a sandwich along with a fruit cup or pasta cup.
The crab cakes are excellent! Not heavy breading and great flavor.
The chocolate cake was too rich even for me and that is saying a lot. I wanted to exchange it for something else but didn’t feel comfortable doing so on a business lunch.
The food was mediocre as well as cocktails. Staff were very good. Won’t go back.
Very nice place for brunch. Quaint and good food.
We found 506 in a newspaper review years ago and keep it as the go to place in Mid Cities.
The service and food are excellent and exceptional. The environment is as if you were visiting a friend’s home.
I was guest of dear friend celebrating my birthday.
It was a perfect evening...great food and service.
My friend lives in Dallas and he thinks this is the best restaurant...loves it for the ambiance.
Fine dining at its best - great service. Diverse menu, good wine list .
Great cozy atmosphere and excellent Dining and service
overall a very pleasant dinner, We were seated on time, and every course was timed good. Our server was always there at the right times. All the food was excellent, but I did order the steak medium and received a medium rare steak. Like most chefs they always assume I really did not want my steak medium and it would taste better medium rare. And like most chefs they are wrong, I really do like my steak medium. And I did not tell the server about this error, as that would have changed the atmosphere of our evening which was more important than this error.
We have never had a bad meal at the 506 and this was no exception. The menu for Valentines Day was amazing.
We went to the Sanford house for their Valentines dinner. My husband and I had the same thing and we were so pleased with our choice. The spinach salad with a lovely light vinaigrette, delicious light a fluffy dinner rolls were a great start. The entree was a perfectly cooked tenderloin over mashed potatoes that had been crisped on a grill which held up the tenderloin, asparagus and carrots accompanied the meat and potatoes and a delicious sauce on the plate. The finale was a dark chocolate creme brûlée which was so decadent it will haunt my dreams of the perfect dessert! Well done Chef's well done!
My husband and I have brunch here every year as a Valentine's date for the last 4 years. It has always been nothing short of extraordinary, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. When the weather is cooperative, after brunch we get a drink from the bar and sit out in their beautiful courtyard and enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend this place!
I am a regular at the restaurant. I was truly most disappointed at this visit. We often found ourselves looking for the waiter. Most upsetting was the overly used amount of salt in the food it was almost inedible. That says a lock sitting I love my salt..
I'm willing based on past experiences to still recommend this restaurant however with caution.
The butternut squash soup was thick and came across as old and reheated.
Let's hope this was just one unusual case in the next visit is better.
Always delicious❣️Great service❣️Wonderful brunch❣️ Nick was awesome as our server❣️
Good service and surroundings! The food was simple but tasty and it was nice to see the chef dropped by to said hi. Wish they have more vegetarian option in the future.
Food is always delicious in the service is excellent
Food was delicious and service was great! This is a quiet place to talk and enjoy a chef prepared dinner. It is a good restaurant for special occasions.
Beautiful elegant atmosphere with exceptional food and service. 5 star dining in Arlington
Ok, we usually come for special occasions and have loved it every time we've come. But the food this time was mediocore. We were both disappointed. The food was warm and lacked flavor. We are hoping the next time we go it will be what we fell in love with. The bread pudding was not good either and we've had dessert before and we were very surprised as to how lack luster the whole meal was.
This restaurant is a little known gem in Arlington! The food is fantastic as are the wait staff! Upscale dining in a great location in central Arlington. You can't go wrong dining at Restaurant506! I can't wait for their spring menu to come out!
Exceptional dinner and attentive service. Palate cleanser added an elegant touch.
As usual, the service and food was great. We always enjoy dining at 506.
Favorite spot to visit with friends over a wonderful lunch
Dinging experience overall was good but the ribeye was not! Two thin to be properly cooked. Not a good cut so I guess that's the reason for brown gravy on it. Brown gravy or sauce goes on pot roast. Key lime pie was very good.
The food and service were great-as always. Great place for business lunches.
Delicious! They were extremely accommodating. We asked for alterations to menu items and they came out great. Also had a 5 year old with us and they fixed her some Mac n cheese and chicken strips. The Mac n cheese was delicious. (I ate the leftovers 😉). Service was very good. Will be back in a few weeks.
Another great meal at the restaurant! The service and meal was excellent and never disappoint. However we were sat near a table who was loud so we had to raise our voices a little to talk amongst ourselves.
Excellent food. I had the venison medallions which were perfectly cooked and were scrumptious. The tuna tartare was also exquisite. Highly recommend this place for dining.
This is consistently a very good place to eat in Arlington. The food was fantastic and the service was also quite good. It was a little loud for Sunday afternoon, however.
Always the best fresh (never frozen) food and a very classy boutique . Short but great wine list. Cost is very reasonable for the quality of goodness. Would expect 5 star prices but prices are more akin to a chain. Excellent one of a kind experience.
A friend joined me for a lovely lunch. Food was delicious. They added an avocado cream sauce to dip our chips in when we asked. Service was excellent. Our tea glass was filled constantly. Only downside was the people at another table. STOOD to visit and talked so loud we couldn’t hear each other. Hope that multi-million dollar deal works out for them! Maybe some rugs would help with the noise level. Still one of my favorite places to go to treat myself.
The food and service was excellent, and they gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary celebration. Prettiest and most elegant Christmas decorations that I've seen in any restaurant. We highly recommend and will definitely go back.
