Excellent service, food and ambiance
Beautiful, quiet, excellent food and excellent service. Very reasonable prices. What more could we ask?
My favorite place to take my friends on their birthday. The food is delicious and the staff is excellent.
The house was decorated with old antiques each table setting was a little different but very elegantly done . Making it very inviting. The food was prepared perfectly. And could not have been any better
The parking immediately adjacent to the restaurant is small. However, across the street associated with their spa is ample parking. The vibe is low key but classy and the entire staff is very friendly. Our waitress was great, making wine suggestions per what I told her I preferred, and the food was very good. There were four of us in our party for a girls night out and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. I had the scallop and shrimp pasta with a glass of wine and it was fabulous.
I’d grade this about average on the food. The service was excellent.
Highlights - strawberry salad and chowder
Low lights - dessert - bananas foster creme brûlée. The brûlée tasted burnt.
Drove an hour to try. Will not return unless in that area again
What a wonderful restaurant to enjoy a relaxing lunch with friends. Our waiter was attentive, but did not rush us at all. The food was so delicious! We all enjoyed ourselves so much, and already have plans to return!
What a beautiful hidden gem.
Food & service were fantastic
Love this restaurant. Very good food, great ambience, pleasant service. On the expensive side, considering that portions are reasonable but not Texas-sized, but worth it.
Great service our go to for date night.
Beautiful restaurant. Fantastic food. Great service. Definitely recommend!
Excellent food. Atmosphere allowed for good quiet conversation. Wonderful service. First visit but will definitely return.
Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff. The food was all delicious. I'm so glad to find a new instant favorite!
My mother in laws’s 91st Birthday!!
This is a place I enjoy returning to. I've come with different friends and they enjoy the place, too.
Great food, very comfortable setting on gorgeous grounds. We'll be back!
The Sanford house 506 restaurant, is always treat. Staff very attentive, food great and ambience just right. Always love going and introduce others to this restaurant.
My son and his (now) fiancé loved their brunch! And kudos to those who tried to take a pic of the proposal. He was way too sneaky! But thanks for everything!!
We went for DFW Restaurant Week, as advertised in local paper, but when we arrived we were told it didnt start until the next week. Other couples were also told the same thing. We stayed anyway, but the only food really good were the salads and bread. pork chop tough and almost every entree had some sort of lemon sauce on it.
Loved the environment and setting. My daughter ordered the stuffed french toast, which was delicious and worth the cost I believe. I ordered the pecan crab benedict cakes, they were good but not delicious and very tiny. Didn't think they were worth the $20 spent for them at all. Otherwise, lovely place.
High Quality Good Tasting Food. I have lived in Arlington for years and just discovered this place and it very good. I have had Lunch and Brunch within 2 days of each other and both were very good. Nice atmosphere and great service. I highly recommend it and it will become a go to favorite for me.
The food was unbelievably delicious- some of the BEST we have ever had. The portions were large and oh so good! We had a meat/cheese board for starters which was huge! It was so good and tasted very fresh. We split the special of the night- which was a Dr.Pepper basted pork shank with horseradish mashed potatoes and sautéed asparagus- OMG! We have never tasted anything like it- unbelievably delicious- so hard to stop eating! We were stuffed- but our wonderful waitress brought us out two complimentary desserts for our anniversary- bread pudding and a cream brûlée. We tried both- which were out of this world delicious, but had to stop eating. The drinks were phenomenal- highly recommend the old fashioned which was was smoked perfectly. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this restaurant! It's a hidden gem in Arlington!
Incredible steak Diane and creme brûlée! Mickie and the staff took impeccable care of us. My wife’s birthday was so memorable!
Thanks for a great date!
Love this place. The food is always great and they always have interesting plates. The staff is always friendly and happy to help.
Food was delicious and prepared very well. Service was outstanding and timely
Amazing meal with very thoughtful and experienced staff.
Had been reading about this place and decided to go for my birthday. I was concerned it might be old and musty. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Beautiful restaurant and the best food ever! Very affordable when you see that entrees come with sides vs a la carte. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to see that we were taken care of. The chef even made an appearance! I had house salad and my sister had curry soup. Both were outstanding. I had steak Diane which was one of the reasons I wanted to go there. You don’t see that on menus these days! Perfect and sides were great! For dessert, s’mores bread pudding. Just talking about it makes me want to go back! They gave us a tour of the property so now considering having my 25th wedding anniversary party here. I am so glad this restaurant survived the last year and did not let quality go down! Perfection!
Elegant restaurant, great food and service.
I recommend that everyone who visits Arlington, stop by Restaurant 506, you will NOT be disappointed!
This is an excellent option for fine dining in Arlington. Every dish was delicious!
We had a wonderful experience, and our waitress was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, there when we needed her and not revisiting too frequently so we could enjoy our meal. We arrived at 5:30, had the room to ourselves and loved the music and ambiance. A group of 4 young people (30's?) came in and one girl was particularly loud for such a small dining area, but we were at the end of our evening. The size of the salad for the price was a bit of a surprise. I've seen more generous servings/portions more fairly priced at many other nice establishments, and feel this would be an improvement to the menu at the 506.
A perfect venue to celebrate an anniversary Sunday Brunch!
Food was outstanding. Restaurant was clean, staff courteous and attentive.
One of my favorite places to meet girlfriends for a brunch or lunch. It is small, quaint, and quiet where we can actually carry on conversations. The food is fresh and flavorable and desserts to die for.
Very enjoyable. We love to entertain friends here because the food is great and the ambiance perfect.
Food was good, but a little salty. Bloody Mary was very good. Well made and very tasty. Service was very good and hostess was very nice. Price was competitive. Restaurant was very clean and organized. Table was just the right size.
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been here. Regardless, the experience was spot on with great food, drinks, and service. We will be definitely be back soon.
