    First time dining here and it was a lovely experience. The staff was efficient, friendly and professional. The food was exceptionally delicious and demonstrated the meaning behind fine dining. The wait between courses felt appropriate and well timed as you could sit and enjoy the atmosphere and company with you. It is pricey but definitely worth it. If you're looking for a true fine dining experience Bocuse Restaurant is it.

    Our first time at CIA and Bocuse. The campus is beautiful. Bocuse restaurant was more modern than I expected and that lack of warm atmosphere made the noise level elevated. The menu had generous offerings and the food was delicious. Service was very good although our server seemed very nervous, he did a fine job!!

    I truly enjoyed the dining experience at the Bocuse restaurant at the CIA. The food was excellent and it was fun watching the students learn their trade. A great day for anyone looking for a unique outing.

    As always, a lovely experience at CIA. Our waitress and servers were super friendly and attentive. I had the smoked salmon appetizer which was good, the monkfish with shrimp dumplings that was fantastic! Everything on that plate was a 10/10, don’t change a thing. My dessert however, was underwhelming. I ordered the pot de crème pumpkin custard. The vessel it was served in wobbled while trying to eat it and was too deep to allow you to take a bite with all ingredients. Flavor also was average. Outside of that, it was a great experience. Highly recommend.

    We had the best seats in the house in front of the kitchen. So fun to watch the chefs work in the kitchen and chat with the servers table side. An unforgettable experience! We will be back!

    We had lunch on a weekday and the whole experience was excellent. Very high quality food, beautifully presented, well trained staff, very helpful sommelier. The prix fixe menu is $46 for a 3-course lunch. We found it to be an excellent experience at a very reasonable price. We will definitely go again.

    Service was confused. We received our dessert before the main course was served. While mistakes are understandable since the staff is all students, my issue is with the Maitre d' who is not a student. She come over to our table only after I finally got up to look for her, and took no responsibility for the errors (there were others besides the one I mentioned). Students who are not supervised properly do not learn from their mistakes. She was dismissive, and even rude to my husband. Not worth it. The American Bounty restaurant is better in every way.

    The student servers are very polite and welcoming, if not very experienced. But watching them learn the roles is half the fun. My food was excellent.

    I'm so afraid to be honest abt this restaurant given ots my all x best French restaurant x 20 yrs . I often travel from south NJ n from NYC n from Conn to eat here. It is beyond the very best. Reluctant x yrs to review it for fear the reservations will overflow n I will have hard x booking such. Was there las wk for long lunch & the escargot did not disappt. Better than I've had in Paris or any other place in Europe. N pls do not miss the smoke maple old fashioned drink. Everything on menu there NEVER DISAPPOINTS!!

    This was a great opportunity to try French cuisine. The meal included one choice each from an appetizer list, entree list and a dessert list. Each list offered several delicious choices. Wine/spirits and tea/coffee were extra. A crusty roll and small slice of whole grain type bread was served first with a softened medallion of sweet butter topped with a tiny mound of fluffy salt so you could mix it in with your dab of butter or not - so fresh and delicate yum. My endive salad with thin sliced pear, baby rainbow carrots, tiny cubed cheddar cheese and maple vinaigrette was so fresh and light and it left lots of room for my entree of Monk fish and shrimp dumplings with tiny potatoes and mushrooms in a delicious cream sauce (not heavy). None of the flavors of the elements of the dish overwhelmed the other so each bit of fish, dumpling and veggie tasted delicious and was cooked just right and oh my the cream sauce added extra flavor to each bite. My choice for dessert was a Rum Baba cake served with a side of rum and a side of whipped cream - oh my again - delicious. A small pot of fresh brewed hot tea (there were several teas to choose from) finished the meal. My reason for dining at the CIA was with a hope to experience some well prepared French cuisine and it certainly filled that hope. I am not a food critic or even a foodie but have eaten out often at many restaurants near our northern New Jersey region and very few have served food with as much care and attention to details like food fresheners/quality, flavor, cooking style and presentation. It was also a great learning experience for me and my husband. We really enjoyed asking the wait staff and servers about the our meal choices and its preparation. We were learning as well as the students who were serving and staffing the restaurant. The ambience was very pleasant in a bright, modern designed dining room with a casual vibe of diners talking with each other. There was no rushing through the meal either.

    As a former graduate of 36 years ago, I was amazed and impressed by the growth and change of the school. The students seem more sophisticated and passionate than ever. The food was beyond superb and the service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The atmosphere was elegant and stylish without being fussy. These students are in VERY GOOD HANDS, and as a result, so was my luncheon party. Highest recommendation. Bravo!

    We truly enjoyed celebrating our friend’s birthday @ The Bocuse yesterday. It was an awesome fine dining experience — with excellent customer service, wonderful CIA students esp Kwon, Pam, Cheyenne, very kind sorbet maker and birthday cake server, delicious 3 course pre-fixe w/ beautiful presentation, and cozy ambience of the restaurant. We can’t wait to return and celebrate more birthdays and special occasions at The Bocuse. Keep it up. Thank you!

    It beat all our expectations -- even our fussiest member who usually grumbles about SOMETHING smiled all through the meal. The staff made us feel like we were the crowned heads of Europe. It was a great afternoon. Thank you!

    Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Bocuse. They were out of my first choices for appetizer and dessert. My oyster appetizer was very good. The monkfish entree was excellent with a very flavorful broth. The baba a rhum was tasty. My wife was pleased with her winter salad, pork entree and the same dessert as I chose. Two negatives. The lighting was quite harsh and unflattering. The noise level in the restaurant was quite high. Granted, every table was filled when we arrived for our 8:15 dining time. Closer to the time we left much of the restaurant was cleared out, tables unoccupied and the noise level was then acceptable. The restaurant should consider warmer lighting that doesn’t hurt the eyes. Additionally, Bocuse should invest in some noise dampening features as it has been consistently loud each time we have dined there.

    What an amazing meal! We visiting the CIA over three days and ate at each of the restaurants - to us, this one had the best food, service and overall experience. We were lucky enough to be seated (by chance) right next to the window into the kitchen, which was like getting a show with dinner --very fun to watch (not how stressed they were though, but just catching a glimpse of everything involved). Every single thing about dinner was fantastic - from the rolls and butter with fleur de sel, to the appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The dinner service is a fixed price for 3 courses, we thought it was an excellent value for what you get. My entree was the beef filet with bernaise - to die for. Special shout out to our amazing server - I can't recall her name, but she was so friendly, warm and gave us such professional service.
