Beer Authority is a craft beer restaurant, serving gastro pub cuisine. With over 90 beers on tap and 100 bottled varieties, the Beer Authority is the perfect place to unwind after shopping, the theatre, heading home or simply hanging out. Ideally located in the Times Square district, the restaurant is located to all major transportation hubs. Happy hour from 11am to 7pm. DJ every Thursday night.

Entrance is a little hard to find, dining area is upstairs with a view of the street below. Lively bar area with loud music and a lots of people talking and having a good time. Food and service was great.

We have to wait for the food about 2 hours, because the manager still take table without reservation. I have reservation and our table was not ready, our waitress was to improvise our table for 9. Overall I'll never back again

Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, lots of room, was able to be seated without a reservation due to their being space but recommend having reservation. Had some drinks and appetizers with friends that were good quality and ok for the price.

BAD IDEA on Santa Con day! We had reservations but were refused entrance by the “bouncer” as EVERYONE had them. Look it was a fundraiser and I get that but we made and confirmed a reservation that was basically ignored and THEN told - it wasn’t our kind of place anyway. They should have never accepted the reservation in the first place.

Super Saturday night watching Syracuse vs Duke on their multiple TVs. Great selection of local/regional craft beers. Warm friendly service from Julio. Wings were much spicier than the mild we had ordered.

This was our first food stop in NY. I was very excited as the reviews were good and beer selection was great. The waitress Marina seemed very rushed and promptly explained how busy they were and gave us an estimate of 41 minutes on food...didn’t set the mood to say the least, especially with reservations. The positive is they did fill the special request of location in the restaurant , which was nice. The beer came quickly which was great but the food came almost 45 min later after seeing our exact entrees served to a couple guest that arrived 25 min after us. Dumb luck, but still irritating. The food was subpar and fries cold. Luckily our server made sure to have a fresh hot basket out almost momentarily after we expressed our concerns. Sadly the experience was like trying to raise the Titanic and we will not be back, except maybe for a beer. Again, it’s sad to have to lump a great server in with crap food and bad kitchen service but a restaurant is a team and 70 dollars could have been spent much better ways.

Recommend for lunch if in this Hells Kitchen area. Bar downstairs is small so go upstairs to restaurant. Bigger than you think. Early lunch so noise not an issue. Oysters were ice cold--great and lunch was very good. Fish and chips light and delicious, French fries great. Chicken sandwich was tasty. So many beers to order! Had a coffee stout---good brunch choice. Waitress was very nice.

Very noisy bar with fantastic food and great beer selection ... felt slightly more expensive than other bars in the area on beer price but worth it for the much wider choice . Prime Short Rib Sandwich is the best in NYC .
