    Invited friends from Brazil We all had a great time! The view is beautiful! Food was excellent. We tried the Chef’s menu. The octopus was delicious. We added the wine pairing! Excellent choices

    We went to the Amara at Paraiso Wine Tasting event on Saturday, September 23, 2023. I was a bit skeptical because I couldn't believe that we could actually be having a wine tasting with light bites for $25++ at Amara but OMG, what a wonderful experience! The ambience, the wines from South America (39 to be exact; Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Peru), the light bites (Amara's yuca cheese puffs, empanadas, smoked fish dip, amongst others), the vendors (very knowleadgable on their presentations of the wines), and Amara's staff were amazing! We even got to see Chef Schwartz making his round, mingling with the staff and event goers! If you ever see another one of these events advertised is a MUST go!

    Amazing decor and ambience, poor food and very bad service. I had arrived at the restaurant at 8:02pm and choose a table outside. After aroumd 10 munites without any server appear, I asked a girls to change to covered area because the rain that was coming. She was very prestative and modes us to a great area….but after more 10 minutes no one appear to attend us. After my complain, one server appear and showed full lack of attention and compromise during our dinner. About the food: everything we had ordered was mediocre, specially the terrivle tuna carpaccio. We spent around 400 dolars there for 4 people. Bad experience!

    The place is beautiful and right on the Bay- the menu is limited and the food is mediocre for the cost. The valet is $18 at night which is very expensive for the area... there is limited street parking. If they expanded their menu and had better less spicy options- would be a great place to celebrate special occasions...

    Overall good experience. There more for cocktails than food but our shared appetizer and entree were very good. Our server Derek was great. Unfortunately more than half our bill was liquor and we don’t think they actually put the high end tequila we paid for in our drinks. Had several margaritas and not sure there was much tequila in it at all. So a rip off from a bar bill perspective. Be careful with the drinks! Either watered down or house

    Amazing location with a beautiful view of Miami Beach. Very good service. Had the Miami Spice menu with wine paring; generous and the paring was priced to be very accessible. The only part of the experience I did not like was the valet parking: no good options in that area and it is overpriced.

    Ambiente acogedor y relajante. El servicio fue profesional y atento en todo momento. El peor martini que he probado lo tome en este lugar, para nada lo recomiendo. La comida estaba aceptable, nada que no puedas encontrar en cualquier otro lugar si estás en Miami.

    The restaurant’s value is its decir and ambience and it’s a great option for a drink and small bites outside in their patio. The food options are limited and over priced for what they really offer and portions are small. The service was terrible. We reserved a table through OpenTable for 4 people and we showed up on time and with a 3 year old that could easily sit in the booth provided on a number of the tables and they made us wait at the bar offering no help because we had not included him in the reservation. The server had terrible attitude wouldn’t suggest plates when we asked him for help ordering and had a very unwelcoming face, attitude and tone of voice. We ignored him and treated him kindly so our experience would not be affected by his poor treatment. Overall I wouldn’t recommend the food extremely overpriced and not worth it when there are so many wonderful restaurants in Miami. I think it is going through it’s hype now but will soon dye off because of its bad food and service. I will go back for a drink outside but that’s it.

    Second time at Amara and didn’t disappoint. They have vibrant/you could dance music but not loud what makes it really nice to carry a conversation while having your meal. For sure coming back.
