Overall Overall experience was very positive. Will definitely eat here again. Food Food was very tasty and fresh. Well priced for what you're getting. Good amount of selections on the menu. For about $25(maybe $20), two people can walk away stuffed Service Service was good also. Friendly, attentive and with good follow through Location It's in a low traffic area on a small block. Tuck away just off the hustle and bustle of market street.

Friendly staff, attentive server greeted me as I entered the restaurant. Order was taken less than 5 minutes after I was seated. I ordered the seaweed salad + miso (appetizer), sweet potato roll, shitake mushrooms roll + vegetable roll (entree) and Japanese ice cream(dessert). Everything was deliciously seasoned + beautifully presented. Generous portions! Professional + pleasant staff guarantees a future return visit! Definitely a 5+ star winner!

I love this place. Great sushi, a lot of vegetarian options, plus they do have sake, wine, beer etc. Tables are not too close to each other so you can actually enjoy a conversation without noise around. Friendly service.

A wonderful gem of a restaurant located right in Jewelers Row in Center City. The sushi was amazing as was the teriyaki chicken dinner we had. Service as fantastic and the prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I regret not going to Koto Sushi sooner. Excellent food, service, and value. Dining in was an enjoyable experience and wait staff and management enjoyed having us. Everything was excellent and the big sushi platter was a home run. Will be back soon. 10/10

Quiet sushi place on Jewelers Row. Nice and quiet on a Monday night. The sushi was very good and the platter fir 2 is really a good deal, definitely enough food for 2 hungry people. We had a very full meal for less than $60.

We enjoyed fried dumplings, udon noodles and 3 specialty rolls. All of the rolls were fresh and delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely return.

We tried 6 different sushi rolls everything was amazing and delicious. Try miso lobster soup and sweet heart roll. Can't wait to go back. We try to get here at least once a month. Wish we lived closer so we would be there once a week.

Fantastic service and amazing food. Very chill for a 6:30 on a Friday but it was still a great atmosphere. Definitely would go back.

My husband & I ordered the Koto Hibachi - delicious!! The service was great, the food delicious. We will definitely go back. On our way out, the owner introduced himself and thanked us. Nicely done!!

The sweet heart roll is the best, so delicious. The Caterpillar roll also very yummy. All the rolls are great and BYOB too.

My daughter and I dined here on a Friday night. We enjoy Japanese food even if not the most adventurous dishes. We started with a variety of veggie sushi and Agedashii Tofu, then I had the tuna sushi and she had the Yaki Udon. Plus the Chef brought out a fish dish for us to sample. All the food was great. Very fresh. The service was wonderful if only a bit slow (although we were more than a bit hungry). The restaurant is simple but very clean and well decorated. In the end I was surprised that our meal was only $59 plus tip. We will definitely be back.

We decided to try this restaurant when in Philly for the day and had no expectations. It was such a pleasant experience! The Manhattan roll and Lobster Dynamite roll were both spectacular and the pan-roasted Chilean Sea Bass, let me just say OMG! We will definitely return to this cute little establishment and recommend it to anyone visiting Philadelphia.

Amazing food, as usual. This place never disappoints. The sushi is so fresh and flavorful and the service is friendly. The spicy tuna pizza and lobster buns are absolutely incredible!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was delicious. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Tempura shrimp was crispy and flavorful. Prices were reasonable. Server was so accommodating. Even brought us a sample of a new dish from the chef. Our only negative was the lack of air conditioning. It was a steamy night. The doors were open for ventilation but really needed ac on.

Sushi is always excellent every time we eat here (this was our fourth visit in past 5 months). We have tried several different rolls at each visit and all of them were yummy, fresh and delicious. Sumai and green tea ice cream also yummy. Friendly staff and BYOB too.

We love going to Kotosushi for dinner. Staff is so nice and the sushi rolls and salads are great! We love trying something new or one of there specials when we go. JJ the owner is so friendly and welcoming.

JJ and his staff did it again. The ingredients in our sushi were all very fresh. The food was beautiful to look at and the flavors were delicious. The staff was attentive to our needs but never smothering. All in all, it’s a great meal at a reasonable price.

Their sushi is some of the best in Philly. We usually order the Sushi Sashimi combo for two and there is enough fish for both of us. If you don't want to spend a couple of hundred bucks, this is the place for you.

Second time here and loved it again. Perfect for dinner before a show at the Walnut street theater, it's within walking distance. Sushi is always fresh and delicious. Tried the shumai.appetizer this time which was also yummy. Pleasant staff, nice ambiance and a Byob too.

There was a lot of choices which is great since I do no eat sushi. The 3 people I went with did and loved it. The poke bowl was delicious and ingrediants fresh. My only complaint is that the ginger side salad was so tiny! It needs to be at least double to triple the size. The owner does everything and was so nice. Also, no handicap entrance. Can the restaurant at least make a ramp? Thank goodness I was able to walk up the stairs with help since I use a walker because I would never have been able to eat there.
