Cadence, a new-American BYOB restaurant from Chefs Jon Nodler, Michael Fry and Samantha Kincaid, offers a thoughtful and nuanced menu that focuses on some of the best ingredients the region has to offer. Cadence is open for dinner five nights a week, offering both a la carte and set price menus as well as an intriguing non-alcoholic drink list.

The chefs’ clean and contemporary cooking style is matched by the restaurant’s sleek aesthetic, set with industrial-era accents and design elements, and earthy color tones. The kitchen view and 8-seat chef’s counter are open, which create a level of transparency and shared experience with guests. The chefs are excited not only to cook for their guests, but to also step into the dining room to meet and serve them. Many personal touches, including art installations and ceramic servingware made by friends and wooden tables made by the chefs are also incorporated throughout.

    Overrated. Food was good but portions very small and expensive. The dessert portion size was a joke. I have never seen such a skimpy serving. For the same expenditure, there are better options.

    This was, hands down, the best meal we have had in ages. We started with the cheese plate which was phenomenal. My husband had the 4 course which was just amazing. The crudo was beyond words. I had the cod which was so good. We can’t wait to go back. Our server molly was the best.

    best meal we had in years!!! so creative....and delicious. staff was also best!!! A 'must' for any foodie! got the 4 course meal, so had almost the whole menu with sharing.......that's the way to do it!

    The food is amazing! I love that we can get the tasting menu but it is a lot of food! I attended the field to fork dinner at SIW and even with the large volume of people, everything was delicious. We will be back!

    Best restaurant experience I've had in a while. Food was delicious and high quality. Bison tartare is not to be missed.

    I brought my wife to Cadence to celebrate her 40th birthday. The food was delicious, beautiful, simple and delivered without pretense. The best way I can describe the atmosphere is peaceful. There is a noticeable calming effect the moment you walk in. I'm not sure what it is, but it's there. The service was excellent. Our server was helpful and I could tell that she cared about the food she was serving. Cadence goes down as one of my favorite restaurant experiences of all time.

    Everything was awesome except for the chocolate cake (too dry) but still 5 stars as that was only one dish of 16 the table tried! The food is creative and inventive and the staff and ambiance are on point! Will go again and hope others do as well!

    Superb tasting menu. Generous portions. Great service. Lovely decor and ambiance. Within walking distance of Fillmore and many hip spots. Wine and spirits across the street to grab a bottle for byo. Will definitely dine again
