View fantastic, ambiance great, food and drinks looked and tasted great. Service was VERY slow, waited 20 minutes to take our order for 1st drink, and always had to look for server to get another. We had a 2 hour window for our time slot. We actually left because of the service or lack of. Would go back but probably not a friday night to give them another shot.

Should have lowered my expectations- walking in the main dilapidated lobby, looking like it was under construction. Up the elevator to 26 the first thing you see is the bar when you walk in- right away you can tell from the crowd that it’s mostly students. It’s not lux and feels cheap. The floors were dirty and overall the seating areas looked dated and dusty. Drinks were also the same quality you would expect from a pub. Don’t waste the trip in an Uber or cab fare over here.

Marred, during our visit, by crowds of women loudly making TikTok videos and encroaching on others’ space. Overall midscale/downscale B&T vibe that clashed with the art deco esthetic. Also, an odd layout, with too many seats turned away from the great views.

Beautiful decor and art installation during the winter months. Asked for seats at the bar while making reservations but it was not accommodated. We were given a table near the bar instead. Disappointed! The rest of the service was great though. The drinks and food are amazing.

Important to keep in mind is that this is a chic cocktail bar with appetizers available - not a restaurant. The view is great from the top floor of the Beekman Tower. The table seating is not overly comfortable, which ensures you don't stay longer than the 2-hour limit. The drinks are very good and priced accordingly.

Generally okay, but I had to wait an additional 30 minutes before getting my table, and at end of meal, we went outside to enjoy view and returned to see the hostess had our coats in her arms and another party at our table! No explanation, no apology , until I mentioned it to a manager. Seemed really disrespectful.
