I set up a brunch reservation for my brothers birthday. Setting up the reservation was very easy and painless :) When we arrived, our table was ready, and all we had to do was sit down. There were 8 of us, plus one high chair, so it was very accommodating! The menu options were great, options for kids as well! The prices were affordable and worth the portion sizes. The drinks were amazing and the entire atmosphere was cozy and comfortable! The food was top notch, we had a hard time deciding what to pick because it all sounded amazing. Even the kids enjoyed the food, and they’re picky eaters lol. I highly recommend this location, especially if you are looking for brunch! I plan to go back to try out the lunch/dinner menu but so far I give this place a two thumbs up! We will definitely be eating there again!

We have found a new favorite place in Monroe Social! You really do need to make a reservation as the restaurant does fill up but it is well worth the effort! The ambience is friendly and relaxing, the Saturday night music is always good, the food is always delicious, and the staff is always so very friendly and accommodating. We will come back, again and again, to try all that the menus offer!

This place was OK. We were only offered the lunch menu, which had a very limited selection. Mostly salads that you could add a choice of protein to for extra. I had the Social salad with salmon. The salad was good but a bit on the bland side and the sherry vinaigrette dressing wilted my greens. The added salmon could have been prepared better. (It came out the way it does at home and I ordered it out to avoid that!) My friend enjoyed her Southwest salad. Didn’t seem to be that much difference between the small and large salad portions. Drinks were mixed by an inexperienced bartender so they weren’t that great. Place has potential. I understand it’s fairly new. Hopefully it will reach its potential in time and with more experience.

Went to Monroe Social for Monroe Restaurant Week. Selections on their Restaurant Week menu were good. The coconut shrimp appetizer and the caesar salad appetizer were very nice. The fried chicken is NOT what one expects for fried chicken, but it is more of a thinly sliced chicken cutlet that is batter dipped without the crunchy batter of true fried chicken. The desserts (chocolate cake and NY cheesecake), not made in house, were good for commercially made baked goods.

We always have a great and casual time at Monroe Social. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and they'll always put on sports game of your choice! The food is delicious and there is a wide range of variety for all types of eaters. Our favorite appetizer is the buffalo chicken meatballs! We always have a great time and a good meal at Monroe Social!

We went with a couple of friends on a Friday for Trivia. I'll be honest, I assumed it was going to be typical bar food, but boy was I wrong. The food was incredible! It was all around a great experience. The trivia was fun, the restaurant is chic, and everyone was so lovely. Can't wait to go back!

My girls enjoyed their pasta, which is ironic, because those were the only entrees we didn't pay for as kids eat free on Wednesdays. My husband's cocktails were undrinkable and he had a Margarita and Sangria-not some crazy craft cocktails. If you can't make a Margarita, you should not be tending bar. The apps were fine but his fish and chips were overcooked.My chicken francese was very bland. The service was friendly but very slow. Folks in town rave about this place, but we have been there twice with the same result. Skip it.

Newly renovated local eatery with interesting menu and friendly staff. Good food, well presented and priced. In spite of the renovations, atmosphere is lacking and tends to be dark. This restaurant has entertainment in the later evenings, but our party of 4 left by 7:30 so cannot comment on this. The wait staff lacks a dress code.

We got there when they opened and were the only ones there for most of the time there. The waitress was on top of everything and very friendly. The food and presentation was excellent. There were coloring sheets for the kids and the kids food came out first, which I thought was smart. Would definitely go again. Looking forward to trying more plates there. Food was a little pricey, but what is t in 2022. Plus we came on a Wednesday and our 3 kids ate for free. That saved us 25 dollars on our bill. The only con would be that they were out of our first choice of beverages (one beer, one cider).

My wife and I are long term Monroe residents and have recently become re-acquainted with Monroe Social. We are now regulars that regret our lapse in patronage. It’s a friendly, informal place, with reasonably priced food that is thoughtfully prepared. We frequently have the Caprese salad or the fried Calamari as an appetizer – both are very good. The “small plates” menu has been recently expanded and we with be sampling the new additions on our next visits. The menu includes seafood and meat. We have had the Branzino and the Flounder Almandine - both are very good and also very reasonably priced. The New York Strip is very good and is also a good value in terms of price. In addition to daily menu specials, there are also some recurring ‘day-of-the-week’ specials (which we have taken advantage of). Examples are half priced bottles of wine (from their wine list) on Monday and Sunday, a steak special on Sunday, and an all night happy hour on Tuesday. We have taken advantage of all of these (with the exception all night happy hour – but we will be correcting this in the near future). The service is always friendly and attentive.
