Windy City All Stars performed a weekly on Thursday nights at Andy's from 1995-2007 under the leadership of trombonist Russ Phillips. The Windy City All Stars present their own Chicago inspired Dixieland Swing style of play in the setting of a sextet featuring trombone, trumpet, clarinet, guitar, bass and drums.

Barret Deems performed & toured with Louis Armstrong and Jimmy Dorsey while being billed as "World's Fastest Drummer" also performed regularly in various group sizes at Andy's Jazz Club in the 70's, 80's & 90's. This tribute show highlights the music from Barrett's 1994 Big Band Album while revisiting the timeslot Andy's first offered Jazz shows... Jazz At Noon!

Our seat was right behind a pillar, obstructing a clear view of the band. That was a big bummer. Entry process was long and chaotic with people jumping the long queue and crowding the very narrow lobby. Crab cakes were a big disappointment - soggy, with much more potato than crab. Some groups were determined to screech and shout their heads off regardless of how disturbing it was to the band and to the rest of us

Haven’t been to Andy’s in quite a while. We liked the reservation system. Allowed for more comfortable seating and servers can wait tables and handle bar more effectively. Good music!

My favorite night out in Chicago always includes Andy’s. The service is exemplary, the food is tasty, and the drinks are the best. Every performance is like no other, the Jam sessions are a very unique experience, must see.

Food was delicious. We had Cajun Shrimp Risotto and Caribbean Grilled Salmon and Seared Brussel Sprouts. The Heritage Jazz Orchestra gave a tight big band show from 6:00 to 7:15 with lots of solos.
