Made a reservation for standard dining and we were seated about 25-30 minutes later at a small high top in the bar. The high tops were so close together that I could not back up because my chair was touching another parties chair. The restaurant was out of half the menu (drinks and a few entrees) we were interested in ordering. A drink was delivered to our table with something in it so we had to send it back. The server accidentally spilled it; I helped clean it up with my napkin so I had to request a new napkin. I received a used napkin with hair in it and need to ask for 3rd one. I order the gnocchi and shrimp dish, there was a total of 2 gnocchi and maybe 4 shrimp for $28. It was a complete waste of time and money. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I had in the city. I wanted to leave right away, if it weren't for other people in my party I would have left immediately after being sat at the bar. I should have requested the manager to have the meal comped. Horrible dining experience.

The service at this place was horrible from the waitress I had. Felt as those Nancy didn’t want to wait on me and my partner. Felt like she didn’t check on the table as much as she could have. On top of that the food was horrible and not fully cooked wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Well, if you have to ask...Our "medium" burger was so red I thought it might have a pulse, but the appetizers were great. The chicken meal was actually a bit overdone, but not too bad. The chicken sandwich, while good enough, can't compare to Chik-Fil-A's, but let's face it; what "fancy" restaurant chicken sandwich can? Exactly--none. Our waiter was a nice guy who recently started, but his breath made enjoying the meal difficult. Sorry. It's possible they were a bit short-staffed too, as many businesses are today. Your experience might be different from ours, so I'll recommend you try Libertine, but with some caveats.

It was restaurant week so that menu was in effect. The appetizers were great (French onion soup & ceviche)! One of our entrees did not come out as it was listed on the menu (spinach fettuccine). Apparently they ran out of spinach and fettuccine and did not inform the wait staff. I only point this out because we would not have ordered it as it come out with asparagus and spaghetti with a cheese sauce. Drinks were good and so was dessert! Wait staff was way over worked, so we just politely pointed out the error. Our waitress looked like she had 10 tables.

Went for a casual brunch, made a reservation and didn’t have to wait. Loved the atmosphere, coffee was delicious (LOVE a good french press), and the toast bar was a sweet touch! The brunch burger was great, the general consensus seemed to be that the eggs were the star of the show. Our server seemed a bit confused, so it was a strange interaction when discussing the menu or specific drink requests. Maybe she was just tired? We’ll be back, as we have no complaints with the food and atmosphere.

I came in on something of a quiet night, and didn’t realize it was attached to a hotel. For a hotel restaurant, it’s pretty good. I had the French Onion soup, and the first one had to be sent back because it was charred. The second also tasted like the soup itself had been burnt, but it was ok. The cocktails were great, as was Dylan, the bartender. I’d go back for a quick drink on a night out!

Libertine turned out to be perfect for what I had wanted. With family in town to see a show, we wanted a place to catch up and unwind while we had dinner. Ambiance, food, service, location was all excellent. We will be back !

Our table was not very secure-wobbled quite a bit. The atmosphere with sports tv on at the bar was less than serious-if the restaurant could choose what it wants to be, that would be helpful-is it just a local place with sports tv on, or is it a more serious restaurant serving theater goers and people interested in good food?

Good evening at Libertine. Restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately when we arrived at 7:20 for our 7:30 reservation. Drinks were great despite the silly names. The French onion soup was very tasty. The crock was very full and the cheese was thick so it was a bit messy to eat but worth the mess. Burgers were good. Cooked as we ordered. The items we asked not to be included were not included. There was a mix up as I ordered a salad but got the Fries. The Fries were tasty. Wine was reasonably priced. Definitely will return.

This was the first time I had been to Liberty in a couple years and I was very pleased. I enjoyed the menu somewhat French bistro but I completely the French onion soup topped with melted cheese and a wonderful braised beef brisket with roasted vegetables The prices are moderate for center City.

We loved it! We needed a place to eat before a show at the Kimmel Center. Found this place and it was amazing. We went for Brunch on Sunday and the food was delicious. Even better they had $5 Bloody Marys & Mimosas.
