It's a fun restaurant, great drinks and really good fish tacos!
Pleasant and helpful staff, yummy halibut tacos and ice cream served to the birthday boy!
“Nouveau” Mexican. Interesting menu & some outstanding different cocktails. The restaurant itself is beautiful - very rustic & cozy. The patio is a great place to sit...much quieter than inside. Service has been great every time!
The food was outstanding, the ambience not very good...
We took a young couple for a wedding celebration that occurred last December. I made a res. They gave us a perfect table and perfect server named SEAN. Sean was awesome and treated us special like the evening dictated. We loved our menu selections. Sean was attentive, funny , while being professional! Thank you Cascabels for a perfect celebration of great food and great service.
VERY creative menu reminiscent of fine dining in Mexico. Fresh delicious and prompt. Only the Sangria is disappointing- way to sweet
We have eaten here several times. Every time we take new people, they return later with other friends. It's got great food, a cool space, and terrific service. Prices moderate.
I am very glad to have found this new restaurant to our area. The food is very good and the service was outstanding.
The food was delicious. We will definitely go back.
The service was great, waiter was nice.
Tables in patio a little close together.
Food was delicious.
Good Mexican food - Great chips and salsa, entree was average but the dessert was dynamite
Great little place tucked into a neighborhood shopping center. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Nice decor, but rather noisy. The waiter was excellent and very helpful. The food was delicious and unique. Would definitely go again.
If it's warm enough I would suggest sitting outdoors, just because the inside sounded echo-y.
But the service was good, and the food was very good. Not your run-of-the-mill Mexican fare, you actually can get a good mole sauce on your enchilada, and the beans were real. The guacamole was mostly avocado (the right way to make it) and the chips were obviously made there.
We'll be going back.
We have been there twice now. The first time it’s like we were being rushed and had an argument with the waitress over what I had ordered. Second time we had to wait for a reservation and then had to wait a long time for our food. The waitress tried her best and was embarrassed by the wait for the food. As for the food, there are many Mexican restaurants in the area that are much, much better for food and service. We will NOT return and Cannot recommend Cascabel.
Great food & presentation; large portions; great service. And what an incredible tequila selection!
Another Open Table failure to check me in when arriving.
This has happened several times to me and it’s getting old.
I arrived and my friend and I decided to dine at the bar, I informed the bartender ( he was management) about my open table reservation and I could tell he wasn’t going to check me in.
Needless to say, that’s exactly what happened and I had to email Open Table about what happened, they took care of the issue.
Just like the Beer Baron, they don’t check you in so they don’t have to pay the Open Table fee. Then they shouldn’t participate in the program!
Shame on these establishments, hopefully Open Table puts them on notice.
