4 of us for lunch. Started with the Guacamole Shrimp App. It was bland. I had a frozen margarita which wasn't sweet, watery and had very little liquor in it. My friend said that her Mahi Mahi over rice was very tasty. I had the new Fried Shimp Taco dish and requested Bibb lettuce instead of a tortilla to roll it in. The server brought the dish out in a tortilla. She then took it back to the kitchen and brought me out the shrimp, which were now cold, over a tiny bit of shredded lettuce. When I questioned her, she said that is how the kitchen does it. What??? I also made my reserve on OpenTable 2 weeks before our meal. I had to call 2 times to have my points put on my account to no avail...What?? Lunch was on the pricey side, and with all the choices in Mexican in our area, I think I'll pass on the one in the future.

We were new to Si Señor but we were looking for a casual Mexican place with good reviews and found this restaurant. We were so pleased with the service and food quality. This is not typical Mexican although they have all the regular favorites. Sides included mashed potatoes and kale with bacon—not typical but still delicious. I had the best chicken quesadilla I’ve ever had. Not a limpy tortilla with soggy filling here but a crispy tortilla filled with fresh, hot grilled chicken and fresh onions and peppers. Delicious! Margaritas were half price the night we went as well. The restaurant is new and nicely decorated and very clean. It was not crowded so noise level was low yet that might not be the case on the weekend. I’d recommend it.

Another trip to Si Senor Modern Mex and the results are the same, a very enjoyable dinner. We had a friend with us this time and she loved the food and wine. I had a beer with my avocado shrimp stack and we shared it around the table and it is wonderful, as appraiser or and stand alone meal. I had a beef and vegetable stuffed bi ratio that was very good and filling, the wife had a fajita with shrimp. Our friend had a sweet 'n sour fried shrimp dish and all was eaten and enjoyed. We will be back to Si Senior vary soon.

We have been dinning at Si Senor Modern Mex now for a year and every time we come away full and satisfied With our meals. Our server, Matt, was knowledgeable and helped with our decisions as to what to eat. I had a Lagunitas IPA on tap and my wife enjoyed a Silver Palm Chardonnay for starters. I ordered the Shrimp and Avocado Stack, that is wonderful along with Camarones En Su Jungo that was perfect. My wife enjoyed Rice in Paradise, a fried rice meal, and she enjoyed it very much. We will return soon.

As the name implies, much of the menu is not what you would find in a traditional Mexican restaurant. It is almost like a "Mexican Fusion" cuisine. I had shredded pork in mole sauce, which was served on a bed of crispy kale. One of our party had a bowl of rice and cheese, topped with one protein and three types of vegetables. The decor is also modern Mexican; although set in a strip mall, the restaurant is on a quiet corner of the mall and so can have pleasant outdoor dining. Prices were very reasonable.

Si Senor has some innovative choices in a large space. Try the scallops for a truly excellent dish. Wide range of tequila and friendly staff Feels like a strip mall chain gone upscale
