Celebrating a special birthday with friends is always memorable but tonight’s meal sealed the deal!! Service was attentive and warm with the waiter sharing a little piece of his own personal presences. The lamb was tender and flavorful and dessert worth every calorie.

Family Sunday brunch. Waiter was fine but he didn’t check the orders for completeness. When the side sausage came it was cold. The a portion that was integral to one entree came very late as a side. Had to wait too long for condiments and food got cold. Overpriced for what we ordered - $75 for basic brunch for 3 seems high, esp. given the mess ups.

Great bar area and selection — and happy hour specials. Service was very knowledgeable and attentive. Our meals (roasted chicken, pork chop, cauliflower soup, roasted peppers, shrimp cocktail, beet salad)—- all met with positive reviews! We enjoyed the sorbet trio to round out a delicious dinner with friends after a downtown show.

The drinks and food were poorly paced. For such a lovely venue and great food, we felt rushed - out the door in just over an hour.

Our waitress was fantastic. We arrived at 11 and needed to be somewhere by noon. Our food was delivered very quickly and she even brought our checks early so we got out in time. Fantastic service compared to prior experience. I’m very happy we gave this restaurant a second chance.

We were seated on the 2nd floor by the windows and the speaker for the music must have been right next to us as it was difficult to hear each other at times. I guess we should have asked for the volume to be lowered but didn't realize that we were all having trouble hearing each other until we left.

I only had a few days in Pittsburgh and crowd-sourced advice for the best restaurant in town. I actually tried the top three suggestions, and then found this place on my own. It beat all the others. Thank you for a wonderful meal and a tremendous experience.

Decided to sit in a booth at the bar, but could not read the menu due to very poor and I mean poor lighting. Not sure why it has to be that dark that you cannot read the menu without turning the light on your cell phone to see the menu. We moved to the dining room to a table and had much better ambiance.

Bar booth seating was incredibly dark to the point of not being able to read the menu, beer/cider was served in warm glasses, waiter recommended baked blue crab appetizer 15 minutes after we ordered the said baked blue crab starter. Cashed out and went down the street, much better experience there.

The raw oysters are always a hit and this time were particularly tasty. I always appreciate how the staff/kitchen is accommodating with my food allergies. Both the ribs and the scallops were cooked perfectly and the sides are unique combos.

The ambiance and the service were exceptional and very enjoyable. I was disappointed with my food, although admittedly my expectations were high and remained high initially in my visit. I thought the blue crab dip was bland and needed salt, at the least. The cauliflower soup was good though a bit greasy and the croutons also were greasy. The steak looked undercooked, even for a medium. The char on it also felt too strong. Overall, the steak dish felt like it lacked acidity. Would have been helped greatly by some chimichurri sauce. I would come back and give it a shot but maybe not before trying some other places first. Thank you for the high quality service though!

It was an amazing dining experience! The service was attentive, over the top friendly and fast never had to ask for anything. The food was absolutely dynamite!!! Our steak tartar and potato bread were fantastic for the appetizers. For our main course the monkfish wrapped in bacon just melted in your mouth and was paired perfectly with its sides and sauces and the pork chop cooked to perfection, the collard greens OMG!!! To die for.... We will be back!!! Oh and our drinks were wonderfully perfect we each had 2 with dinner!!!

Valentine’s Day dinner, excellent service, great food, but I don’t think it was worth $170 inc tip. That’s serous steakhouse money, not 1) vday tasting menu + the pork chop + one house cab + an old fashioned. I mean it was excellent food and our waitress was extremely attentive but I don’t think the value was there.

Perfect "Pre-Heinz/Benedum/Cabaret/Byham/Bricolage" dinner. Drinks are fast and large, waitstaff very friendly and solicituous of your time and the food's great, not too heavy. In fact, the Kale Salad was so good, I bought some Kale and chopped it up the way they do, pulverized some croutons into crouton crumbs the way they do and ate it the next day...and the next.
