   Afternoon Tea at Ballantyne Resort was lovely! The environment is upscale but comfortable and welcoming. I had the pleasure of having Iza as a server and she was SPECTACULAR! So kind, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. I will go back JUST to have Iza! The girl needs a raise or bonus!!! The setup was nice and we had a small table with 2 oversized chairs. Only recommendation would be pillows for your back and raising the table a bit so you could fit your legs beneath to face your friends easier. Our Vegetarian options were fantastic although a couple items seemed a little "past their prime." I will definitely be back for Afternoon Tea!

   I took my sister to the afternoon tea for her birthday and we had such a lovely time. Everyone was so nice. The food and the tea were delicious.

   They charge a 24% service charge for a tea that’s served in the hotel lobby and present a check with an additional tip line. We could hear people checking in and out and chatting with the front desk the whole time. Our server was amazing but she was training someone who spilled my tea all over their serving cart when she was pouring into a tea cup. The training server simply picked it up and dumped it back into the tea pot to re-pour. Seemed sloppy. I’ve had teas at other Marriott affiliated properties that were a better value and experience.

   The food and setting were lovely and it was fun to see all the ladies dressed up for afternoon tea. The highlight was the service of both the host and the server-just top notch and totally made the afternoon special.

   Such a lovely experience! The tea was delicious and perfect tower of eats. We loved sampling everything! The attention to detail was not missed. It was for my mothers birthday and they went above and beyond.

    A friend and I celebrated my upcoming 40th birthday with afternoon tea. (Also, we noticed that others were celebrating birthdays, too.) It was an exceptional experience. The hibiscus tea that was off-menu was divine and the "crumpets" were delightful. Isa was our server and she was knowledgable and helpful, even while training someone new. Anything we needed, everyone made sure we had it. And the staff was adamant about helping us capture photos. We plan to return because we had that good of a time.
