The atmosphere is chic and the food delicious. The service was slightly distracted but still ok. Value is not great, but it’s basically Beverly Hills so that’s to be expected .

Delicious food, beautiful interior, and a couple of details that I particularly appreciated: * This is one of the few large restaurants I've been to that manages to get the balance right between having a buzzy feel without being too loud for a quiet conversation. * The separation of the teppanyaki into a separate room works well to keep the smell from that from overpowering the much more delicate flavours in the sushi.

It was our first time at Roku and we came by recommendation. It was such a disappointment. Nothing but nice ambiance. Our server was Takuma W, he brought us the check while we were still eating and drinking. He didn’t offer us dessert, coffee or anything. He was rushing us because he wanted to go home he said. We asked him If he wanted us to leave as a joke and he said “after you pay, yes” and when we were paying he asked us if we were going to tip him and that if we don’t tip him, he will put us on the list so we can’t make another reservation if wanted to come back. Honestly, if there is going to be servers like him, we never want to go back. We were so excited to experience Roku, and it was a huge disappointment that also the manager told us that he will talk to him later.

I loved the old Sushi Roku on 3rd. Didn't know it moved and became ROKU on Sunset. Oh well. It was still good but I preferred the vibe on 3rd.

The blue fin tuna sashimi is absolutely a must-have! The dry age steak is also strongly recommended, as well as the yuzu flavored scallop. However, the salmon steak is just around average. We had green tea tiramisu and chocolate volcano cake for desert, which was another highlight of our meal.

While Roku is beautiful (but loud) the same cannot be said for the food. The rolls are overpriced and really under deliver on taste and size. We had the spider roll and yellowtail roll with tempura shrimp. We also had the cauliflower, which was probably the best thing we had. The albacore app was pretty decent, but again, meager portions. The salmon steak was on the dry side. Our server on the other hand was sweet and attentive. As a final note, having an attendant in the restroom who you need to greet, tip, etc is always a little uncomfortable and unnecessary. Lots of room for improvement.

The food and drinks were, as always, exquisite. Our friend was in town for business and as it was her birthday, we wanted to make the date a special one as she was away from her family and normal circle of friends. She had a great time, loved the food and thought the carnival cake was the perfect ending to her birthday celebration.

Among the best sushi meals I've ever had. Beyond the stellar service and great environment, the food itself is totally next-level. Each piece of sushi had little enhancements to the flavor, like caviar, yuzu and black salt that so perfectly complemented the fish, which was all totally highest-level quality. Seriously, if you haven't gone to Roku yet, do yourself a favor

Food and decor nice , great cocktails, but the music choice and level is unbearable, why all this rap and why so much of it? In such a romantic place , the atmosphere is set to chill out not having to concentrate to talk listen or eat, and we did try the place before , we came back hoping the DJ had changed...the Back room where the sushi bar is , seems to be less noisy but not as nice and comfy Too bad since we live 5mns away ....

We both had the veggie bento box, a real deal at $13, very filling and accompanied by miso soup. The tempura was cold, but the rest was delicious.

Not very happy about the fact that the restaurant added a 3% fee to the bill. Nowhere on the menu nor anywhere in the restaurant was this fee posted.

On Saturday night a friend and I had dinner later on in the evening and I apologize in advance for not remembering our waitresses name (I blame prior day moving exhaustion for that) but she was far and above one of the best Server/ wait staff team member I've encountered. When offered for her to choose the entire money without restrictions she nailed it from start to finish especially with that cotton candy flaming dessert at the end... Thank you for the experience
