The food never disappoints here. Alex looked over every plate before it was served. The gentleman mixing /pouring drinks was a real artist. Our server was excellent. This is our go to nice dining and special occasion spot you can not go wrong

Not as good as previous visits. We were seated right next to the hostess stand and it was very claustrophobic feeling. Being in a small and uncomfortable seat took a lot away from the experience. The restaurant was full so our server was spread thin and that hurt the experience as well. Our server was very good, he just didn't have enough time for us.

My wife and I were blown away with this place. The shrimp and grits were the best my wife had ever had. I had the fillet which was to die for service and price were amazing.

We LOVE this restaurant!!! We’re traveling home after a week of family get together at Orange Beach…to stay overnight in P-Cola was a must just to walk to dinner at Restaurant Iron! We discovered it about 8 years ago on a trip to Portofino!❤️ It really is some of the BEST food we’ve eaten!!! It’s a quaint, little spot that’s over the top! We also LOVE sitting at the bar watching the chefs prepare & dress the plates❤️

The food was delicious. Loved that the menu had items that you don't get everyday. I had the beef short rib wontons and the Shrimp and grits. Both were excellent.! Service was great and server was very friendly and made great suggestions from the menu. We'll definitely dine at Iron again.

Tried the short rib dumplings which were great. My guy order sliders which came with only 2. Blue cheese foam was different. Our other guy had the gumbo which he said was over powered by the potato salad taste and didn’t like it and boudin balls which were dry… I shared a 3 course meal with the bday girl and the first 2 were good but dessert wasn’t great… not a good value for $100. We’ve had better food there in the past.

Absolutely stellar experience. Great atmosphere and vibe, perfectly prepared appetizers and entrees, the Cobia and chicken thigh entrees were a hit with us. Extremely flavorful. Best gumbo we have had in Pensacola in years. My wife and I had a fantastic evening at Restaurant Iron celebrating our anniversary. Chef Alex is top notch.

The food is always amazing, we’re still undecided about the new style menu…. We love our fancy dinners at Iron, but the new menu has a casual feel to it that we’re just not sure about yet. The service was excellent as usual! My only complaint is that we reserved our favorite spot on the counter but when we arrived (on time for our reservation) a couple was already seated in our reserved spot…

This has been our favorite restaurant. Last night we were celebrating my moms 72 birthday. We made reservations a week in advance. I was at the restaurant for an hour before I could get my 1st drink. the 2nd drink arrived as I was paying the check. We were there for 2.5 hours. Service was horrible. 1 waiter, 1 bartender who seems to not care and her drinks were not very good and a hostess. The food portions were 1/2 of the normal portions. Fish dish came with garlic Spinach as a side and there was 1 tablespoon on the plate. They could not make Moscow Mules because they were out of Ginger Beer and They were out of at least 1 of the 5 starters listed for the night. My mom was very disappointed and the rates they are charging we should have had better service and food portions. i hate to loose what was such a great place in the past. it was more sad that no one seemed to care that were were just sitting there and the bartender could have made drinks and helped out. waitress was bussing tables, serving food, making drinks, taking orders..... SAD
