Della Santina's Trattoria in Sonoma, San Francisco is a traditional Italian restaruant serving recipes mostly from Lucca, Italy. It was founded by Quirico (Dan) and Shirley Della Sanitina. With the passing of Shirley Della Santina - Quirico, his son Robert and wife Nicole continue to carry on the family business and Tuscan traditions. Quirico is the chef behind the menu and has provided what's been described as Italian comfort food in a gorgeously authentic Italian setting. When you walk in the front entrance you'll be greeted by truly Italian decorations and design, as well as fresh flowers on every table.

Della Santina's offers a variety of home made pastas, antipasti, soups and salads, juicy rotisserie cooked meats and fresh seafood. Local wines from Sonoma, as well as Italian wines and beers are all featured on the wine list. Della Santina's received the 2023 Sonoma Index-Tribune People's Choice Awards for Italian Cuisine and Romantic Meal.

I'm a repeat local customer. They have never let me down. Food is always delicious. Their pasta dishes are always fresh and hot. I've had their lasagna, raviolis, gnocchi, duck, and veal. I wouldn't hesitate to order any of them again.

First visit to this restaurant. Top to bottom one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Traditional Italian food at it’s finest. The Della Santina team hit it out of the park. Hope to return soon and often.

We had 3 in our party and all order different entries. None of us were pleased with our meal. We love italian food but were less then impressed.

Della Santina's has always been a favorite of ours over the years. Not sure if last evening was just an unusual blip, but the service was very poor. We were seated at our reservation time of 6:30, received water and bread promptly. At about 7:00 (with tables around us being seated, placing orders and receiving food) we finally asked to see a waiter to place our orders. At about 7:10 we were finally able to order, but sadly, did not receive dinner until 8:00. The lasagna was burned, the ravioli entree was lukewarm. Very disappointing.
