   We are semi-regulars who go to Bravas Bar de Tapas every time we visit Healdsburg. Excellent food of many types. Great service. Back patio is recommended (weather permitting).

   Bravas is a regular in our rotation of places to dine around Healdsburg and the greater Santa Rosa area. I don't think I've ever gone and NOT gotten the pan de tomate. It is a wonderful appetizer. The environment is always excellent, we love the patio.

   Omg get the crab and ask for a side of toast! Also the pig ears were surprisingly delightful! Bring at least 4 people, I only say this because you can order and try more without being overly stuffed.

   What a delicious little gem in the heart of downtown Healdsburg! Quaint and lovely. Beautiful outdoor seating. The food is absolutely delicious and the best tapas I have had this side of the world since going to Spain 5 years ago. We had the Papas Bravas which were perfectly fried and the aioli was light and lemony. The grilled octopus is a MUST! The marinade was to die for. We also had grilled calamari with a minty, herbaceous chimichurri. Fantastic as well. Overall, a satisfyingly delightful meal with impeccable service.

   We love this place, especially when we can eat outside. There is a huge pine in the middle of their back patio and it supplies the nicest filtering of shade. The food is exceptional and the wait staff is always knowledgeable, welcoming & kind. They always take into account our dog's comfort as well. We have brought several different guests with us and they all rave about it as well. Keep doing what you're doing, it's perfect!

    spacious back-patio tables under a grand pine tree & festive lighting. tapas & uncommon items (pork ear, pork cheek) are well prepared & tasty. red sangria is a must-do! luv the tuscany color scheme & friendly staff. eat your heart out barcelona/madrid! bravas is IT!

    We went for my friend’s birthday. I had been telling her how great Bravas was and she was really looking forward to it. The food, die the most part, didn’t disappoint. My favorites were still good but the desserts - crema catalana and chocolate mousse- were underwhelming - and the complimentary soft serve with canned chocolate syrup was awful. I’m hoping it was just an odd night because this was my first disappointment ever.

    It's always a fun experience at Bravas. This time we skipped drinks and indulged in desserts. There are four on the menu, and we tried them all. The rum balls and the chocolate mousse were the standouts. And earlier, the eggplant chips were the favorite bites of the evening! They sure get a lot of excellent cooking done in that tiny kitchen! The service was splendid--efficient and good-natured.

    Birthday lunch with 5 of my friends. Great service, very accomodating when I told them we'd like separate checks, and the food was OUTSTANDING! Everything we ordered was amazing. The table favorites were the goat cheese toast with sauteed onions and white truffle honey, the crab stuffed piquillo pepper, the crispy bacalao cigarillos, pan tomate, and the octopus.

    The service was excellent, but the food is not what I expected because it was more modern fusion, rather than the traditional Tapas I am familiar with & that you would find in Spain.

    We were outside in the back on a rare sunny, moderate day in early March and found it very comfortable. Our waiter did an excellent job of rolling out our choices in a measured way, making our lunch very relaxing. The food was excellent too!

    Ok I must admit I wasn’t expecting much. Usually tapas bars in the states fail to impress me, this one was legit. The flavors were amazing. The standouts: octopus a la plancha, chicken with olive tapenade, croquetas, and the roasted cauliflower with dates, bacon and blue cheese (still drooling over this dish). The skip for us were the patatas bravas, even if it’s the name of the restaurant. They have enough items on the menu that you can get different experiences every day. We didn’t have dessert, we ordered the bacalao at the end and that felt like too much food. It’s reasonably priced and casual. Definitely it’s a must for Healdsburg.

    We ate our dinner outside on the patio in February. The food and service were delicious and attentive. There are heaters, but it was chilly even though we wore jackets. Dress warmly for winter dinners. Inside dining was not an option for us. Way too noisy.

    We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately. All the food we ordered was tasty. And I loved the cocktail I ordered—All Eyes On You (or something like that). It tasted like carrot juice. Service could have been a little better. At one point we had to ask someone to have our server check in with us. Additionally, people who were seated after us, who ordered the same dish we did, were served before us. Overall though, would definitely recommend.

    We returned after a year with fond memories and you didn’t disappoint! We throughly enjoyed everything from start to finish! We began with the sardines and finished with the eggplant and everything in between was so delicious!

    We couldn’t go out on Valentine’s Day, so this was belated Valentine’s dinner. It was very good, not fantastic. Decor and service very pleasant. Some interesting and moderately priced wines by the glass. The tapas were OK — my favorite was the patatas bravas, but my husband thought they should have been smaller and more well cooked before frying to make them creamier inside. (I don’t eat fried potatoes much and I found them nicely crispy and delicious and I love aioli so I was very happy!) The duck meatballs we expected to be savory and more strongly flavored - they were bland. But the main course trout a la plancha with Romesco sauce and a tasty, well dressed baby kale salad and grilled garlic bread was absolutely delicious! And the coffee (press pot) was very good too. So, four stars, but not 5. I would definitely go back for the trout again, and also I’d love to try the clams and the octopus with fingerling potatoes. [They also have a nice selection of port by the glass but I’m saving my port tasting for Portugal trip later in the year!]

    Food, and drinks were great! Unfortunately service was very slow and she seemed to only be able to handle one table at a time. Never checked on, and instead had to get up and ask her to get our drink/food order. Outside of that, it was a good experience.

    We were in town on vacation wanted something low-key and this completely fit the bill. It’s a very cool little place and had we been drink the cocktails would have been amazing! The food was great, the service outstanding and I’ll bet if we were there on a Thursday through Saturday. The happy hour would be second to none! I would definitely recommend trying. We enjoyed it!

    The octopus dish is out of this world !! I suggest ordering two - because it's so good you won't want to share :). I also order a lavender lemonade and asked to add some vodka... delish!!!! They should add this to their cocktail menu.
