I’ve eaten at several Ruth’s criss restaurants around the country and this is by far the best one. A must try when in Las Vegas

Had the lobster and 11 oz filet for two. The filet lacked seasoning and was rather bland. To be honest, the Victoria’s Filet at Outback is better for 25% of the price. I was not impressed. $32 for a glass of BV Cabernet. $21 for a side of roasted Brussel sprouts. Ended up being almost $400 for dinner. My first dining experience at Ruth’s Chris several years ago was memorable and that’s why I wanted to go back. But for am almost $400 tab, this outing was far below expectations. Should have gone to Emeri’s Del Monico steakhouse instead.

We were celebrating a birthday and our waitress was delightful. But I don’t remember her name. We were there on Wednesday, June 25 at 5 o’clock. She was just off the charts fabulous.

This has been our go to place every time we’re in Vegas which is typically 3 times a year. Fathers Day was the first time we were disappointed. The fillet was fantastic but other dishes we not. They changed the lobster Mac & cheese. It was dry and overcooked. It tasted like chunks of Velveta cheese food and very fishy. It was so bad, we sent it back. They changed the crab cakes. They were served in melted butter rather than their classic remoulade sauce it was always served with. Very bland. The service was not great. We were very disappointed. Probably will find a new go to spot for fine steaks and seafood in Vegas.

I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was so bad, I feel compelled to share. Everything was fine until our food was served, it was a huge letdown. I ordered my steak cooked medium and when I cut into it there was "no pink" in the meat...it was grey. My husband ordered his steak medium & got the same result...meat was grey & looked over cooked. Our waiter, Joe, was very apologetic & took our steaks away & promised new steaks cooked properly. Well, that didn't happen! The next pair of steaks were cooked the same way...meat was grey, tough & had no flavor at all. We have gone to Ruth's Chris many, many times over the years & have never had this kind experience. This is NOT a cheap restaurant but fortunately the manager took care of our bill for us. We won't be returning anytime soon.
