The Crosby Bar & Terrace is located on a quiet, cobblestoned street inside Soho’s Crosby Street Hotel. We offer modern American cuisine in a spacious room with high ceilings, long pewter bar, gray oak floors and tall warehouse-style windows which look out to the trees at the hotel’s entrance and the garden on Lafayette. Great ambiance. I ordered the noodles salad and it was just ok - the shrimp was a bit dry and not too much dressing making the noodles a bit dry. Service was ok, a bit slow but they are attentive.

When I have come here in the past, I have always felt welcomed——Not sure if it was the fact that it was too crowded, but I felt that the front desk more or less “dismissed” my friend and myself as unimportant. Contrary to this slight, our server was lovely….

Had afternoon tea for Valentines Day. The decor and the service were good, but the food was not up to the caliber of other places in the city for afternoon tea. The scones and the tea were good, but the fillings of the teas sandwiches were frozen and the baked goods were not good. The menu said the tea service came with champagne , but it was not serviced to us. Will not be back for tea .

My friend and I loved the afternoon tea at the Crosby Bar. The food was yummy and the restaurant has a unique downtown yet whimsical vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

Such a special place in SoHo. The service is excellent and attentive. Excellent food. Lovely Wedgewood China service. Many tables have garden view. Nice cupcake surprise for friend’s birthday. Delicious.

We had a 12:30 reservation on Jan. 18. Although the restaurant wasn't busy, the service was a little slow. Our food was great! We've stayed at the hotel numerous times and have had many meals at the restaurant. Until now, we've always been happy with the food and service. We ordered dessert after our meal. After 20 minutes or so with no dessert coming, we had to tell our waiter to cancel it because we were going to be late for an appointment. The waiter was very rude about us cancelling the dessert. My son who was with me noticed this as well. When he brought the bill, I was reviewing it as I normally do, he was again rude about it saying loudly and rudely that he removed the dessert from the bill. What had been an otherwise good experience ultimately left us very disappointed.

The service was terrible we were seated by the entrance table for two. We have to waive down the waiter to get service. Keep in mind if you go there make sure you are not seated by the entrance . the waiter seem to forget you are there . . To get a glass of ice we need to ask/ remind the waiter 3 times. But the food was delicious.

Fantastic afternoon tea! Really generous portions and all-around great quality with somewhat inventive offerings. We were seated off to the side so it was much quieter than the rest of the restaurant but also took a while to get waitstaff to notice when we wanted refills of things/the check

I was disappointed that the request for a gluten-free option at the time of booking was not honoured. Food was lovely though. Pannacota could have been in glass tumblers and not plastic.

Enjoyable afternoon tea though sandwich bread was a little stale and tea cup initially arrived dirty. But that last was easily rectified and the Service was friendly and obliging. We had a nice, leisurely time in a lovely room on a gray day.

The ambience and the food are wonderful. The service was so-so. Inattentive to the point where I had to walk up to the reception to ask for the check. I was STUNNED to see that a 20% gratuity was already included in the bill with an ADDITIONAL tip line to add more! Perhaps your wait staff would be more attentive if they had to earn their tip vs automatically receive 20%. I hope my server was just the exception!

Vibe of the Crosby is incredible and such a great place to unwind for a few hours. But service was beyond bad. Server was short and rude from the onset and we had to get up twice from the table to request things as she never bothered to check on us again through the course of the brunch. The manager was kind of enough to comp one entree which we appreciated but we were so discouraged at this point. Food was good but not great. Medium rare burger was cooked hard and everything was was average at best. Hopefully they can turn the service around and then we'd consider it again.
