    The food was very good. The beef lasagne was not great. The noodles was spongy. The rest of the food was excellent. Jose was not our server, but he managed to take care to see that out order was right. Thanks Rao for a great date night!

    Fried green tomato caprese was absolutely delicious! Definitely would order again for sure. Not really a fan of the vodka sauce or the Parmesan risotto. Definitely recommend sticking to their regular marinara sauce (like the sauce w/the meatballs). That’s really good. Steak wasn’t bad but do not order the roasted garlic and chive butter. They put way too much on and it over pours the steak.

    Every time we come to Las Vegas we always go to Rao’s. The service is outstanding and they always accommodate special menu requests. It’s an oasis from the chaos of the city!

    First off, I was really looking forward to Rao's. When we arrived the process to get seated took a while and we weren't really greeted. When we were seated it was down in a back area near windows by the pool. It was freezing! Had to be moved and the table nearby was still cold. Once we sat down the busses came by right away to get our drinks. It was 15 minutes til the server came by. Now, the food itself was tasty. The meatballs were excellent. The Caprese Salad was okay. Lasagna and ravioli were all tasty. The verdict is that the food was good but the rest of the meal was so-so. Glad I tried but will not be sad over Rao's closing.

    I look forward to Rao’s opening somewhere else in Las Vegas because this is way too good of a restaurant to not re-open. Service is always outstanding. Food is delicious. A little pricey but the atmosphere, service, and food make it worth it!!

    Menu options greatly reduced (No more veal dishes) and prices greatly increased. I celebrated many birthdays there but this last one was quite disappointing. Guess it has to do with the permanent closure on the 28th. Sorry Rao’s, I expected better from you.

    Sat at the bar. Felt the bartender paid attention to everyone but me. Introduced herself to everyone - but not me. Never came back and asked me if I wanted another drink. Had to wait a long time for my check.

    Everything ordered was delicious. My only negative would be that it was ridiculously priced for the meal and the location was very inconvenient. Parking at Caesars cost $30 and you had to walk for miles.

    One of the best restaurants in Vegas! I definitely will be back EVERY time I return to Vegas! I had the meatball appetizer and lemon chicken with truffle risotto. Everything was sublime. The service was high end and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

    no gluten free options for pasta, in today society that’s just wrong! A salad and 2 meatballs, water only should not cost 75$. Oh and they charged us for Bread. Really?

    Menu was limited; server was not very nice. Food was overcooked and dry. It seems like since they are closing down the restaurant soon, they just quit trying. I would not recommend going there. Much better to just buy their pasta and sauce and eat at home.

    Since securing a table at Rao’s in East Harlem in NY is impossible LAS Vegas seemed achievable. Interior space reflects the idea of the NY locale with Christmas lights strung along the awning above the bar and no wall lacks photos of the owners and or celebrities who have dined there. Service is friendly and attentive, The food is a bit hit and miss. Especially signature dishes like Homemade Meatballs which were indeed tender but the sauce/gravy served in was sour! Compared to the Pasta Bolonasse sauce which was rich in flavor with a hint of red pepper and delicious. Rao’s famous Lemon Chicken was prepared moist and plated attractively. Lemon flavor needs to be a suggestion ; not a statement. The lemon in this dish was definitely overdone and very unappetizing, for me. Best dish: The Misto Fritto. Best I’ve ever tasted. Prepared with care and seasoned well. Rao’s LAS Vegas is closing for good at the end of November after 15-years, without a hint of another location mentioned. Could my experience been a one off? Maybe. Or the result of a restaurant closing down. The answer may require a future visit to Rao’s in Los Angeles. To be continued.

    Wanted to go just to have the experience before the venue closes. Should have listened to the reviews. Only one of the 3 entrees was halfway decent and it was the crab carbonara. Even so, it had only one small crab claw of meat. The other entrees were less than Olive Garden in both quality and taste. We were seated next to the beverage cart even though the restaurant was nearly empty. This resulted in servers constantly buzzing around the table to get water pitchers, silver, etc. We were in and out in about 30 minutes at a cost of over $150 for 3 simple pasta entrees, 2 sodas and a mixed drink. And yes I still tipped 20% because the food and seating is not the fault of the server. Definitely would not recommend unless you have money to burn.
