   Food and service was excellent, the decor/atmosphere was a little less exciting. We sat at a table by the window overlooking the parking lot. We had heard about the great terrace they had, but we never even saw it, so cant tell you what it looks like. Very good meal, overall experience maybe a little disappointing.

   We absolutely loved El Alma! Went here for brunch before heading to Barton Springs right down the road. Food, cocktails, ambiance on the patio, and service was all amazing! The chilaquiles was our favorite. Will definitely be back!

   We used to love this place. But it really went down hill. Food was ok, drinks were watered down and service was subpar. So sad. This was our family celebration go to for years.

   I love eating on that patio. The food was exactly as I ordered it and the drinks were fast and tasty. I especially love the sides and ceviche to round out a dinner of tacos on homemade tortillas.

   The food was so good! Me and my parents went to dinner and we all really enjoyed it. I have never been before and it was a great atmosphere as well. We all got margaritas and we each got enchiladas. I will definitely go back!

    Reservations request for outside but there was a wait for that so we sat at a nice table by the window Omg the Duck enchiladas with chipotle sauce sooooo good The corn soufflé heavenly creamy goodness The ancho dressing on the salad unusual and delicious And of course the margaritas were great, had the one with the passion fruit juice and ginger for the first time and I like it! Date had the old faithful mangorita so fresh

    Always love the food when we come in and the ambience is super nice! We sat outside this time and it was such a beautiful day and the patio on the rooftop is gorgeous! Our waiter Jeremy was attentive and super nice! Cant wait to come back in!

    My girlfriend and I came here for a date, it was okay. Maybe it was because we were seated inside and not the balcony, but the dining room was much too loud for any kind of romantic vibe as we’d been told to expect. There was one particular group of obnoxious millennials who seemed to think they owned the place. The drinks were good, but too small for what I paid. The appetizer list left much to be desired, and overall the food was good but not great. Spices and flavor variety were very much lacking. I’ve had better Mexican food in the hood for half the cost. That being said, prices weren’t horrible compared to the rest of Austin but for a special date this place did not live up to our expectations. Only way I’m coming back is if I can get balcony seating.

    Really nice little Tex-Mex place here in Austin. Broad but interestung menu with some less common items. I had the duck enchiladas with mole, which was delicious. Good margaritas, and an excellent Tres Leches cake for dessert.

    We were slightly disappointed that the Lamb was out for lunch. The chicken tortilla soup was good. The fried plantains are the best. The duck Taco was great. The Redfish wasn’t so fresh and the Corn Bread could have been better. Overall good. We will be back.
