    If your planning on a quiet environment for conversation, you won’t find it at the JW Steakhouse. The place had continuous Loud rock music playing. It’s a shame they chose to destroy the ambiance with speakers over almost every table.

    Our overall experience was great. Although the music was a bit loud and voices filled the space, the steak was delicious. The $20 baked potato was just ok. Had it been a normal sized spud, plated with the steak, I would have enjoyed it more. We came for steak and that did not disappoint! Ambiance and service was great as well.

    Ordered the porterhouse medium rare and it came out medium ( possibly sat too long before cutting)- still good flavor. Table was too small for four people. Enjoyed the bone marrow and charcuterie board! Good service.

    Grace was an impeccable server, with charisma and took very good care of us. The appetizers, soup and salad should be skipped. Head straight to entrees.. the Filet Mignon was so tender and perfectly cooked and the baked potato was fabulous. We chose a really delicious red blend to accompany the food and it was yum!

    The waitress was great and gave good recommendations. Even honest ones about which items are better than others. Had the French onion soup and hearts of palm ceviche. It was really really good. We will definitely be staying at that hotel simply because of the food choices. Great place to stay before you leave out of LAX.

    A remakably similar NY strip at the Casual resurant was 1/2 the price .. with two sides included. Not much selection for sides at the steakhouse. Hard upsell effort for wine and " extras" . $147 for an 8 Oz tenderloin with no sides. !! Ouch.. Hard working and pleasant server .. Grace.. was attentive and helpful. Excellent service. !!!

    The only bad review about this place was the male host, he wasn’t very nice or inviting (he was the host while the staff meeting was happening). I literally would have gone to another place had there been other options in the area.

    Great service and food! We ate at the restaurant two nights in a row because the food was so great the first night. We had the heirloom tomato salad - very fresh, light and delicious! The Filet was amazing! I thought the prices were a little high for a hotel restaurant but the food was also very good!
