Great selection of delicious beer. Unfortunately, the bathroom was filthy, the booths were very worn/tattered, and the service was average. The only food we had was the pretzel appetizer, and that was good, but unfortunately without having anything else I can't comment on the entrees. I'll be back if I'm looking for good beer selection, but not if I'm looking for a date spot.

I love Goose Island beers, I've been wanting to come here since I moved to Chicago 3 years ago. The hostess staff was very friendly, however my server seemed annoyed by me sitting in her section. Her tone was very cold, straight to the point. I was waiting for a friend, so I looked over the beer menu and found a few of the beers I was interested in. Sadly they had run dry for the evening. So I settled with a different beer. It was fine... other than the fact that it was warm. The glass was not chilled, beer was not chilled, just warm fizzy beer. Is this a thing? Thanks??? My friend and I were thinking about having dinner there but felt pressure by the server that we needed to order something ASAP. Between the warm beer and unfriendly nature of our server, we decided to go somewhere else for dinner and additional drinks.

Excellent beer selection made possible by our awesome bartender! We drink Goose Island at the Jets home games and we wanted to experience different brews. We asked our bartender to make our selections for flights. Spot on! The food was delicious and fresh. The decor was eclectic and comfortable. Excellent experience.

Decent menu with good food selections including burgers, poutine, appetizers and a great beer menu. Service was good although the place wasn't very crowded giving us a bit of a "lost" feeling and not sure why we were seated as far away from the pub as we were.

Brunch was good, but not a lot of dinner options to choose from. You almost always get seated right away, but takes a bit before you're approached by your waiter/waitress. The environment is neat and it is a local brewery so it's fun to try their different beers.

It was a typical Saturday afternoon crowd. Took my mother for a birthday lunch and drinks. Since brunch was still being served, I opted for an omelette, the brie omelette to be exact. The cheese was very overbearing and after asking for a new one, it still wasn't very good. Only because I hadn't eaten all day, I settled on the breakfast burger. Regardless of the food, the service was good.

I've been coming here forover 10 years and the menu used to have grass-fed beef and a really great lamb burger; now it's OK but nothing spectacular. I got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it had barely and sauce on it - luckily the expeditor brought me more sauce when I asked and I was able to enjoy my sandwich Service and beer are fine.

Had lunch with some great beers from this original brewery location. The wort bread would be a meal in itself, dense, crusty bread, with honey butter and bacon jam spreads. Great burgers and some of the best sweet potato fries, Oh and great beers.

I love seeing a beer list separated by type. I prefer IPAs and I hate slogging through a long list to see my options. No need to do this here! The wait staff could even tell me nuanced differences. Worth it. Food was good too.

When our waitress first came over she informed us that she was out of several items on the menu so we immediately ordered the beignets before they ran out too. They came out and although I wouldn't classify them as beignets, more like over sized donut holes they were delicious! When she came back to take our order for brunch she informed us that they were out of eggs so we either had to wait or had to order off the regular menu. We decided to wait and luckily five minutes later they had eggs again. We ordered off the brunch menu and both enjoyed what we ordered and due to the difficulties our waitress comped a drink for us which I thought was nice considering everything that had happened.

We enjoyed tasting some beers and everyone liked their food. The only bad thing to say was that our server didn't come by the table nearly enough. Our food came out quick enough when it was ordered, but it took longer than we would have liked to get drinks and place orders. Our server was good, but it seemed like he was stretched pretty thin. There was a large private party there that night, so that may have been the problem. It would have been much better if our server had time for questions about the beers and menu, and to come around more often and more quickly with refills. I would have ordered one more beer after dessert and a growler to take home, but I was tired of waiting by that point and ready to go. I would go back though.

I dined at Goose Island back on the 24th of October with my family. I recently moved around the area and took my family there for the first time. I understand that it was a Saturday and the server was probably busy. I'm not going to mention the server's name at this point but the service was horrible. First, we were never given napkins until I asked and no condiments on the table. We had to ask the bus person the refill our water. The server was not attentive at all she must have only checked on us only 3 times. We had the Prime cheddar burger and it was a very simple burger but nothing special. The burger was good but a bit overpriced. We also had drinks and she was fast with the drinks but at the end of our meal I ordered a jack and coke and it took over 5 minutes to ask for a simple Jack and coke drink. At this point, I was bothered by her service. For some reason, I always get bad service at restaurants and, believe me, I am not pushy at all. I usually tip up front and expect good service but that day I only tipped her $2. I also wrote on the merchant's receipt as bad service. The thing she did not know is that I tip over 20% all the time tip I dine out. I will visit this place again but hope a better dining experience.

Even though Goose Island is more of a pub than a typical sports bar, it was a nice upgrade to our usual Sunday football routine. Great food, a calmer atmosphere (which means more attentive service), and a phenomenal drink selection kept us all happy while comfortably watching the game in the bar.

Second time at Goose Island and thank goodness for consistency. Service was great and the food wasn't too bad either. There were 4 in our party, the Fish & Chips were crunchy on the outside and moist and tender in the middle. The Moroccan Meatloaf was moist & the mashed potatoes had great flavor, not too much garlic and not dry. The Turkey Club was good. Bread was toasted just right not burnt and the bacon was cooked so it was crisp, but not too crisp. The Prime Cheddar burger was prepared as requested, medium. It was moist and flavorful, the cheese was melted over the entire burger. Two of the side were onion rings and one was french fries. Both were tasty, not overdone and crunchy. It's nice to go somewhere and have consistently good food instead of being great one time and the next time it's bad.
