Not only did our wait person, Jonathan, provide delightful service and conversation, we sat in a room with gloriously large windows with greenery gently flowing outside the windows. The entire evening was relaxed and delicious. This was our second visit in three days while we were in town for a week. You won't regret the delicious food at a reasonable price. Enjoy!

Traveling on business and always looking for new places. Read review and thought I would give it a try. When I came in, about 20% of restaurant was filled. Greeted very quickly and pleasantly, seated right away. I then sat and sat watching three other tables seated after me. Someone came by said “hi” filled my water glass with tap water and then I sat as I watched the three tables following me get greeted by waiters and asked if they made a decision on drinks or apps. I sat a bit more until a server came by and asked if I wanted a drink. I asked if I could have some sparking water and provided my drink order plus food at same time anticipating a long wait. He then came by about 5-8 minutes later to say they ran out of sparkling water to which I humbly accepted the tap water. In retrospect I wonder if the first person knew they were out of sparkling water but shouldn’t the waiter have known. What high-end restaurant runs out of sparkling water? Isn’t that like not having spoons? More of that later. About another 15-20 minutes went by before the waiter finally came by to say the drink would be up shortly. I clocked it and it was 30 minutes before getting the drink. The entree was incredible as far as food quality goes… the drink was great too. I ordered another in fact before I was done with my first anticipating another delay. I finished the entree about 20 min later as waiter came and said the drink should be out shortly. Not sure if the bar was short staffed but it was about 30 minutes from ordering the second drink to getting it. I decided the food was so good I would look past the service and get a dessert. That came to the table about 20 minutes after order. No utensils on the table and the waiter said, “would you like a spoon?” It wasn’t a question of “would I like a spoon or fork”, just “would I like a spoon”. I said, “I’m not sure how I’m supposed to eat this without something”. Wouldn’t you just bring some sort of utensil to the table with the dessert?

The food was one of the best dining experiences we have enjoyed in downtown Atlanta. But the service was definitely the standout of the experience.

White Oak is very pretty and welcoming inside, I liked taking a look at the garden too. Cocktails we great. Service was lovey. Both proteins (shrimp and chicken) were over cooked; chicken must have been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time, the edges were like jerky. Sauce with chicken and risotto were great however! Perfectly suitable spot for pre-event or on the occasion of being downtown.

Wonderful experience. Food was excellent albeit through a short menu. Exceptional wine list with many selections from regions beyond California and France. Impeccable service. Very attentive without being a bother. Enjoyed it!

Excellent experience in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Location is good, right across from Truist Plaza and down the street for GSU downtown campus. Should benefit form South Downtown expansion.
