Excellent tea leaf salad and mango chicken. Excellent and friendly service. I asked to be seated outside which is better for me. Unfortunately, I did not get a table in the park key area, but one in the sidewalk. Sidewalk dining ins not that pleasant / lots off passers by, and dirty Palo Alto sidewalks. Definitely worth it to eat their delicious food

Our server was more interested in chatting with 2 guys on the table next to us. Service was non-existent and had to look around just to ask for water or any additional attention at the table for 5 of us. Food quality has changed, felt like the recipe & preparation of food has dropped. Does not have the previous charm as before. Used to be a good place but times have changed

We love this place and were looking forward to dining on Father's Day but were severely disappointed for the following reasons: 1) They have moved to ordering by phone, which removes any human connection with the server - feels low-brow, something appropriate for a fast casual place, not a finer dining place. Two servers came by anyway to explain how to use the system and went away immediately! 2) We asked the server to get us regular water but he disappeared on us. Even after reminding once, it took a long time just to get water. 3) Our main dishes came before the appetizer. When we asked why, they said if we order everything together on the phone, then anything can come first. This makes no sense - they know what is an appetizer and what is a main, so can stage the service accordingly. In any case, they never told us to order appetizers and drinks first, and only then order the mains. What if we had ordered desserts and they came first?! 4) The Burmese rice they served us was cold, as if it came direct from the refrigerator!! We had taken a few servings out of the bowl already so asked the server for a replacement. He basically microwaved the bowl and brought it back, leaving the cold rice on our plates as-is. We ordered a second rice bowl to make up for this! 5) We ordered a Scorpion Bowl for 2 (drink) and it was super-inconvenient to share. They had these really long straws but it took a while for the drink to start flowing, and when you stop drinking, quite a bit would dribble out. We neither enjoyed the drink nor got enough of it. Total waste for $28! 6) At the end of the meal, we wanted to pack the leftovers but again, no one came for a while. Finally, someone came and insisted on bringing a paper bill, when we could well have paid on the phone app. This was so senseless - why have a phone app in the first place? It was not as if they were busy - more than half the place (inside) was empty on a Sat evening, so no excuses. Won't be coming back anytime!

Absolutely Aweful from start to finish. We have been going there since they opened. We went for Mothers Day, were seated outside with a dirty table and dirty plates. No one told us we had to order ourselves (never had to do this before) on line so we sat and sat waiting for a waiter or waitress and no one came. We finally saw someone and asked for clean plates as well as silverware and napkins and received three new dirty plates and none of the other things we asked for so we asked again and this time just got forks; so we asked for new clean plates again and napkins. Appetizers finally came and we ordered online for our dinner. Three different wait staff came to us asking what we ordered (though it is online and not taken by waitstaff) and answered each person that we already ordered. The food finally came and was totally bland, nothing like the tasty food we normally have which is what brings us back time and time again. I tried to get a beer and was told of different options by three different staff only to find out that they just had one bottled beer after waiting and waiting for my drink to come - so said forget it. The only staff member at all helpful was the busboy who filled our water three times and cleared our table. The hostess was flat out rude and the three waitstaff previously mentioned were unkind, demeaning, and I knowledgeable. Finally a “manager” came up and we complained about everything only offering a brief apology with no other comments. We told her we were regular customers and were bewildered by the experience - no reply. We came for the food/ dining experience, neither of which were anything other than upsetting, and mediocre at best. If we want to order food on an app, we can do that from home. In fact, the staff seemed to spend most of their time servicing the DoorDash folks coming in to pick up on line orders, not in any way focusing on the customers dining there. Other tables with same experience. Will never come back!

We went for Mother’s Day dinner. Very disappointed with the service, seating arrangements and overall quality of experience. Food is reasonably good but it came in no particular order. They are clearly understaff. They didn’t have a bartender and their wine selection very poor so didn’t have a choice but order a suboptimal bottle of wine as none of the cocktails we asked the lady (temp bartender) knew how to make: Won’t go there again.

The food was tasty but served cold. They system of online ordering falls way short of talking to a server. We asked for hot tea but we’re served Luke warm water with it, and when we asked for additional hot water, it took 25 minutes and still came only warm. We sat outside so noise was ok . They should work much harder because they have a great menu, plenty of reason to go back but we like our food to arrive at the table piping hot.

Dishes were somewhat hit or miss. The eggplant and garlic was great. The shrimp and garlic noodles were "OK" -- they definitely needed a sauce but the sauce they were served with was too sweet. When ordering, we indicated "medium spicy" but the dishes seemed to have little or no spice.

Great service, love the food, only issue was the wait to check in. We arrived a few mins before our 7:30 reservation, but then waited in line for at least 15 minutes just to check in and let them know we had arrived. Immediately seated after that. And not a huge fan of ordering on our phones, but other than that, service was fantastic (waiter was the best) and especially love the tea leaf salad.

Had a terrible waitress. Dropped some of our Tea Leaf salad on the table while serving and didn’t wipe it off or apologize. When we pointed it out she said she would bring us a napkin so we could clean it up. Plates were not changed after the Tea Leaf salad. Paper napkins. QR code ordering. Must pay and tip in advance. Portions were small and food was lukewarm. Will not return.

Associates were courteous, friendly, very helpful, and polite. Food came out fast. This is our second time and again was very pleased with everything. They even surprised us by bringing a scoop of ice cream for my son who's celebrating his birthday. The only negative side was there is only one restroom and we were there, it was out of order. I had to use the restrooms at Wahlburger.

Tea leaf salad needed more lemon or salt. It was pretty bland. Rangoon chicken was good and the garlic noodles were fine. Drinks were ordered at the same time as the food but didn’t come out until we reminded them half way through our meal. They brought the monk hinga and asked if we wanted bowls to share but then didn’t bring them. I understand everyone is struggling to find help so can forgive the service errors but the food was really lacking flavor.
