The food is absolutely outstanding. Each dish a carefully constructed artwork that delivers in presentation and exceeds this in flavour. Service is friendly, informal and attentive without being overbearing. Can’t recommend The Ledbury highly enough. It might be spendy but don’t be put off, it’s worth every penny. - OT

I had the vegetarian tasting menu, the flavours were not to my taste - a lot of nori was used in many of the dishes. There was a long pause between two of the courses which made it a little too long for us. I also felt that the vegetarian menu was doubling up as a vegan menus - as someone who loves cheese, i felt that i was missing out. - N

overall5food5service5ambience5 Been wanting to come here for a very long time and glad we finally made it. Four of us came for dinner and all of us walked out with big smiles. The evening was exquisite, service on point, friendly and funny staff and food that was exceptionally good and not a single course I did not like. I had told them about our food restrictions before hand and they had individual menus prepared for each person, that alone is worthy of three stars. Their attention to detail is really amazing here. The food started arriving and course after course was amazing flavour, fabulous presentation, and the staff were just great with us in responding to our questions and elaborating as needed. My favourites of the night were the charcuterie that comes from their farm, the Portland crab, the venison from their farm, their home grown mushrooms and the mackerel. The dessert was nice but the pralines that came with the coffee put me on cloud 9 :-) the truffle praline was exquisite to say the least. They even gave me a small bag of those to take home, that’s very special. Great but expensive wine list, exceptional service and we never had to ask for anything during the evening and service with a smile. Loved every bit of this place and I would come back in a heartbeat. I was apprehensive considering I had been waiting a long while to get here but, they delivered beyond expectation. - OT

overall5food5service5ambience5 First time back at The Ledbury since it reopened, and it did not disappoint. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by the professional and friendly team. The lunch taster menu was delicious, every plate perfection! The wine pairing were thoughtfully chosen and worked with each dish. The team are incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, produce and dishes, and are happy to share this with you. The restaurant lay out has changed a little, with beautiful new decor. We had a lovely corner table that gave a view over the full restaurant. There is also a mushroom cabinet and I recommend going to have a look. Overall such a lovely afternoon and we will most definitely be back! - MC

But no more brown sugar /burnt sugar tart!! We did feel, however, that this time service was slower than usual. We sat down at 630, we did have to wait for some of our party till 7, but the meal did not end till about 1030 - seemed quite long...? - MB
