    Skip this location, by far the most run down and poorly managed of the Benihana locations in the Houston area. Cleanliness and service are a real issue at this location. Waited 35 mins for drink orders (water and hot tea), tea never came, and waited an hour to have appetizers served (easy peasy California roll) what was brought was not the California roll. Afrer an hour + of the main order not taken while other tables were seated after us and had orders taken, we left. Super disappointed but also relieved not to eat there since we saw the cleaning process first hand while sitting there an hour. It was troubling and honestly gross to watch them reuse sauce containers for new tables and handle them after touching used dishes without washing their hands then set up the next table. We may have dodged getting sick by leaving.

    I feel for the price paid, they could do a better job keeping the drink glasses full. Portions are a tad small

    Won't be back even with the great birthday coupon. The host was sweet but when I got brought to my table before I sat down, Austin a horrible server came up from behind me and almost spilt a whole tray of drinks on me and then gave me a dirty look like it was my fault because he didn't let me know he was coming up behind me. Got moved to another table and the waitress who was brand new was sweet but we also had some crazy dude at our table who made everything difficult and he is evidently a regular so stick him with the new waiters. Food was overcooked and way too salty. The manager was sweet and recooked my daughter's steak but the whole night just wasn't all that and not worth the birthday coupon. Thanks but no thanks.

    Well it started out with our server. My husband had to ask him 4 times for some sweet-n-low for his iced tea. Then when the chef was asking what type of rice we all wanted I guess saying the typical rice was not the answer because after everyone was served the fried rice that they “typically” serve he told me he was cooking me white rice. Well I was not going to have him cook me my own rice and put everyone’s food behind. So then he started cooking the vegetables and passed that out to everyone and then got out the chicken. I asked my husband when do you think I will get my rice? Maybe with your steak. So I waited for my steak which was last since it was a filet. Nope no rice. He said thank you to everyone, cleaned his grill and left. Hmmm no rice. That’s the first time that has ever happened. So, our meal was $119.00, my husband’s meal was steak and chicken and it DID list rice and mine only said Filet Mignon and no chicken but I still should have gotten rice, don’t you think?

    We’ve experienced many locations of Benihana and always enjoyed it. Our experience at the location in The Woodlands was so poor that I doubt we’ll be visiting any location of Benihana again. The server was totally disorganized and would simply disappear for 20+ minutes at a time. It took over 90 minutes from the time our table was seated to receive the first morsel of food from the hibachi cooktop (and it wasn’t that busy)! Even then the chef had arrived unprepared and didn’t have enough food on his trolley for all of the orders! We definitely do NOT recommend this location of Benihana!

    Wonderful Experience. We had the in-laws come in from out of country. It was a celebration on many levels. Their 40th wedding anniversary, Birthday, Mother’s Day celebration and visiting their daughter they have not seen in a while. Jacob did not disappoint us. Quick witted, friendly and outgoing. He made sure to recognize the events we were celebrating and made our visitors feel special and welcomed as we celebrated the special occasion.     Had a fantastic experience! Our chef was Nate and he was very funny, did great trick shots and his cooking was delicious. I highly recommend!

    This was absolutely the worst experience we’ve ever had at Benihana and top 5 worst of all time. Service-so bad. It was like we weren’t there. The chef??I mean if that’s what you want to call this guy but if it’s their first day then don’t put them out there on a 7 top. Cooktop stayed filthy. One of the eggshells he cracked at the beginning of the meal stayed on that table until he finished. A nice half inch piece ended up in my wife’s fried rice. Fried rice-no flavor other than pepper. Total pepper bomb. He cooked my wife’s scallops for… what’s normal time for scallops? 90 seconds max right? 15 minutes. It was a piece of rubbery plastic by the time he served it. Cooked my steak on top of the hibachi he just cooked raw shrimp on. This was so so bad. Manager gave us half off. That was too much to pay for this trash. We’ve been to Benihana across the US at least 60 times. This was #1 on the list.. of worst experiences
