   The service was great, our waiter Tom was wonderful. The food however was not very good. The burgers were over cooked and dry and tasted terrible. The pizza was just ok. The the only thing good was the French fries. We also attended the 8pm comedy show which was fun. We ordered popcorn chicken which was undercooked.

   The brick oven original pizzas and the appetizers are fantastic. The Stand brings a classy, creative menu to their customers along with a great wine and beverage bar. The club menu is awesome as well! Always a pleasure to visit The Stand!

   Although we had a reservation, we waited 25 minutes and finally were seated after I asked twice due to a show we had later. When we got to the dining area, most tables were vacant. It’s also a comedy club, so maybe elsewhere the building the staff was jamming it up since they certainly were not visible to take care of diners with reservations

    Loved everything about being at The Stand! Our server was very conscious about keeping things going for us to catch the 8pm show. Food was delicious too. Will be back!

    Even though we had a reservation and our party was there on time, our table was ready 20 minutes later. The service was very slow, we ordered our drinks and the waiter arrived with our drink order one hour later!

    Restaurant was loud with death metal playing and the food was OVERLY salty. Many came for the comedy show but we just came for dinner. Not a “date friendly” dinner experience.

    The food wonderful. The comedy was consistently funny. I can't find anything to complain about! We were the oldest people there and we still blended in. It was a perfect evening.

    Went to The Stand for an early dinner, and had a wonderful meal. The hostess Mae was so friendly and welcoming, and the space is large and beautiful. The squash appetizer, codfish and Brussels sprouts were all delicious, and the chocolate cake was out of this world. My server Chris was amazing. He knew the menu very well and helped make certain that my dining experience was perfect. I will definitely return soon.

    Food was salty, mushrooms and broccoli rabbi only ok . Seafood platter also salty , clams casino didn’t seem to have any clams . Moscow mules not great- and there was a lemon slice on it?! Lemon doesn’t belong in a Moscow mule . I wouldn’t go back

    The hostess was very nice. She still accommodated me even though I was alone and my voucher was for two. She didn’t make me feel weird lol. The food was good and I even had an extra entree to take home. I used my voucher from Pulsd. I would come again.

    The stand is a great venue and restaurant. It makes for an easy night out when you can slip from your dinner table right into the venue. The service and food were great and the comics are always top shelf.

    I took my boyfriend here for the first time with the Pulsed voucher, and overall we had a great time! For some reason we were a little confused about where to enter the restaurant (the door is right next to the one that says 116 above it) but when we called the host she kindly came outside to show us (lol but it was very appreciated). The bottomless mimosas came quickly and did their dang thing, and while the food did take a minute it wasn’t too long at all and we both enjoyed our meals (Double Decker Burger and Eggs Benedict) — for the bargain with the voucher, you really can’t beat a meal like that in NYC!

    The service was great. The drinks were amazing. The ambiance was fun. The food however left much to be desired. First appetizer we sent back because is was burned, charred black the server handled perfectly and got us a different appetizer. Then a side-dish was burned but edible. And the bacon I added to my burger was burned. The show after the food was perfect, funny and fun and the espresso martini was amazing, the food just let us down.

    There were lots of empty tables available but was told to wait to be seated by someone. After waiting a long time, the person finally showed but immediately asked if i had a coupon. Does a coupon dictate which table I get, the quality of food I receive and level of service? Does the color of my skin indicate the likelihood of dining with a coupon? Not sure if this is standard procedure but it is tactless and may be perceived as insulting to diners. The timing of that question was inappropriate. I did not have a coupon; I decided to walk out and give my money to a much more deserving restaurant.

Because of that, we do proactively ask if you are joining us with a voucher/coupon, and we do seat you. I assure you this line of questioning was not because of your skin tone, we do ask everyone joining us. Regardless, we will work with our team to ensure that our protocol simultaneously conveys the respect and tact we aim for.

    We happened to be there during a large party being hosted at the restaurant. It made it feel a little chaotic, but the staff seemed to handle it okay. The food was good, but the pizza was a little thinner than the last time we had it.

    They weren't ready for us with a reservation at 11, despite that being the opening hour. They served us a cappuccino and latte without foamed milk because it wasn't working on the espresso machine without giving us the option to order differently. For a table of six, first four dishes arrived, one a burger ordered bare that had sauce in it and came with cold fries. Then the fifth dish came 10 minutes later and the 6th 10 minutes after that, apparently because no one figured out it wasn't ever ordered until our third inquiry over what happened. To make it up to us, they tried to offer free dessert we didn't want and we had to fight to get it taken off the bill. As two guests were catching a plane, they had to leave before the 6th guest was finished. I had hoped this would be a neighborhood gem, but we won't be going back.
