Excellent atmosphere, quality and presentation of food. My favourite place to take out of town guests.
Accommodating and friendly. Great food and cocktails - beautiful space
Parking is a little confusing, but the confusion stops there. Fantastic venue. Attentive service, and outstanding food. Short drive from my house, but worth a longer one. We’ll be back soon. Maybe stay overnight next time. Beautiful spot!
Such a Beautiful property. Food was excellent. Steak and lobster done to perfections. Other food courses seemed like maybe it had been pre-made or sitting for a while, but overall was excellent.
We have already recommended to our fiends and their husbands. It was so relaxing and beautiful and the eggs benedict were the best I have ever eaten.
The food was delicious and it was the perfect evening to sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
We went for brunch for my partners birthday. It was delicious, the ambiance, the estate itself is gorgeous.
A top-notch spot for a brunch or lunch. Classy and elegant without being stuffy. Wear a bow-tie, or flip flops, or both. Professional service, great food, exquisite location and beautiful views. Sat out on the patio for brunch overlooking the fountain and valley below. win-win-win-win. Treat yourself and go to Azuridge.
Well worth the drive and escape from the city. Amazing staff and excellent food. Portions were generous. We started on the patio with drinks and a large cheese platter and then moved into the dining room for a great anniversary dinner. The kids enjoyed the halibut and we had the chicken and lamb. Already told friends to add it to their list.
Food was very good!! Full Mark's.
The server and bartender/ supper slow but drink quality, okay) were not comenserate with the venue and food.
Exceptional, beautiful ambience, setting and food.
Looking forward to returning to Azuridge again. If you want to make the meal an event the journey to the countryside is worth the 55 min. drive from Calgary west via Bragg Creek then south on hwy 22 avoiding numerous heavy-road-construction sites in the city [not due for completion for another couple of years], taking advantage of exceptional mountain views en-route then rewarded with a stunning million dollar view right from your table.
We were warmly welcomed by staff and assistance offered for my 94 year old mother, with mobility issues, from our vehicle to the table. Although it wasn't very busy this Thursday lunch hour, table service was outstanding - attentive without being overbearing.
Food from the brunch menu the Gin Scented Tomato Soup flavours balanced well, the Crab Cake Benedict perfectly cooked & not overly loud, and the Asian Chicken was tender and gently spiced. the Wagyu Beef Burger was top level in taste and texture, although the fries a little bit salty masking the already great taste of the potatoes - I would request 'sans salt' for my next meal.
The desserts were amazing, a feast in themselves presented artfully full of tangy flavours and fresh ingredients. I would make the effort to come here just for the coffee and dessert!
A great destination restaurant with a premium Chef and serving staff, but definitely a place to take your time and enjoy the experience.
We loved the ambience and quiet - sadly lacking in many restaurants we have tried. Food and service outstanding.
Ambience is very good to excellent. I can see why people enjoy this restaurant. Services was very good but food was boring. It was presented well but it seemed a little bland. Neither mine nor my husband's meal was something I would rush to eat.
Fabulous all around!
food was excellent, portions were a good size(for us). Presentation was great. between bruschetta and main meal, we received sorbet as a palate cleanser, which was a nice touch. sorbet was served on aa tray of ice, it was our anniversary and they had carved in Happy Anniversary on the ice, nice touch. Dining room was what i would consider cozy, ~26 seats. Service was attentive but not overly so. Prices are higher than other places, but, overall a very nice experience and would go back.
Love this place it is so beautiful sitting on the deck before dinner and enjoying the sun and the kids can play games on the lawn and the adults just relax. The food is outstanding !
Great service and food
41st anniversary. This place is a hidden gem. Wine menu is very diverse. You can spend a little or a lot. View from dining room is outstanding. Food selection is very interesting and diverse. Food preparation, presentation and taste was smothered best we have ever had at any restaurant. The service was friendly and very attentive without being annoying. The pricing of everything was a pleasant surprise. We have paid much more for a less enjoyable dining experience. I will not hesitate to tell anyone I know about this place, as much as I would like to keep it a secret.
Outstanding meal - the sablefish was maybe the best fish I've ever had. Servers are very professional - attentive but not over the top. Ambience is perfect for a quiet romantic meal, but would also work for a big group. And the setting is like nowhere else in the Calgary area.
Gorgeous setting, delicious food and excellent service! Can’t wait to bring friends and family to this treasure of a destination.
Excellent food, beautiful location. A hidden gem. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful setting and food was quite good. However, I have enjoyed other restaurants more. Our server was not very warm though clearly capable.
We celebrated our anniversary at Azure Ridge and it was a great experience. The food was outstanding and our server, Roxanne, was excellent. Azure Ridge is the perfect combination of great food, excellent service and outstanding views.
Easter brunch was $80 a person and it didn’t even include a drink (mimosa, etc) - and the selection of food wasn’t worth the $$
Nice little surprise tucked away. Food was great, service spectacular and views amazing. We will be back and possibly looking to book a larger event or corporate retreat at the property.
Amazing food! And great location! Highly recommend!
Absolutely lovely! Excellent attentive service, beautifully presented flavourful meals and a stunning setting.
I can't think of one thing that could be improved. Looking forward to our next visit soon!
Azuridge Estate Hotel never fails to impress. From the friendly staff, to the incredible environment, to the amazing food, we are always left with complete joy when visiting the Azuridge Estate Hotel. The menu at the Opal Dining room was phenomenal as per usual and the high standards we have come to expect never cease to amaze and dazzle us. Treat yourself and your loved ones by dining at Azuridge Estate Hotel.
Everything is just wonderful and I tried your new Nepresso coffee but it is still a disappointment. If I may suggested check out Italian coffee beans you may have a better result with their coffee ie. Lilly to start. Till next visit ... thank you.
Excellent atmosphere and value for the amazing food.
We had brunch at Azuridge and loved it ! The food, ambiance, service were all worth the the drive.
Thank you, we'll be back.
Fantastic food, the views are stunning and the staff are very friendly and professional
Beautiful atmosphere and great food and service. Perfect for a romantic night or just a delicious dinner.
Just simply amazing, from start to finish. We will be returning often.
Thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely lunch|! Food and drink were great! Service excellent! Beautiful view on a sunny winter day! You have a repeat diner!! Would recommend.
Thank you so much for the review! We hope to see you again very soon!
There were 4 of us for New Years Day brunch.
The Crab Benedict was delicious & fresh.
The Salmon & Tempura Shrimp was incredibly delicious & beautifully plated.
The Mascarpone Toffee Cheesecake was light & punched with flavour but not
Lattes & Mimosa’s were equally enjoyed.
The Azuridge Estate Hotel is nestled amongst breath-taking landscapes
& is a respite in which to breathe & relax.
The setting is amazing, great attention to detail ( linens, cups, quality condiments) how
ever, for how slow it was the service was definetley lacking. The quality and presentation of the food was again lacking. Average, but for 22-25$ per plate for brunch I except amazing taste, quality and presentation. I will go back for dinner and hope that we will be wowed with the service and food to match the claims as being a top tier establishment.
No detail was missed. We enjoyed everything front start to finish. Never felt rushed.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We look forward to seeing you again very soon!
Outstanding location and the food is exceptional. The only issue is that it was rather cold in the restaurant. Recommend that you request a table close to the fireplace in the winter.
We promise we will be back to taste other offerings in your menu. We all agreed that it would have been a five star review but the coffee did not measure up to other coffees we have tasted.... it was a bit of a let down after enjoying such wonderful meal.
