From the online review, I was expecting a much better experience than what I experienced. Food was okay, not great, and ambience was very poor. The prices were that of an upscale high demand restaurant, which Capers is not. The staff, however were all lovely and so the service was excellent.

Our go to spot. Took some friends for the first time and they loved it. The service was slightly off last night but they were crowded. Usually the service is solid. Food never disappoints. Love the swordfish! It can be a little loud so be prepared for that. No bar to sit at FYI.

Eating in the=main dining room is very noisy. The garden bar would have been better. The food is top notch. A favorite is the steak frites which are done Parisian style, hangar steak and crisp thin fries. The snapper done in lobster sauce was spot on. Crispy on the outside.the sole franchise was excellent as well as the salad for one that fed the 3 of us as a small appetizer. All in all for a Saturday night when restaurants are harasses, this one shines in this promptness an careful preparation.

We sat in the bar area. Our table was next to electric heater located on floor. Temp was comfortable. Food is never disappointing. We ordered the Shrimp entree and Filet of Sole. Both were prepared perfectly and delicious. Service could be better. Had to find a server to order our chocolate mousse dessert which was definitely worth the wait. Capers is now our go to local restaurant.

Innovative food experience. A "twist'"on regular dishes, sich as the chicken scarparello, the steamed clams. Even the bred is hot and tasty with a "mustard" spread. The best mushroom ravioli with a wonderful wihte pea sauce. Ready to come back soon!

Excellent ambience, food and service we definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back we had a variety of foods including Cesar salad , beet salad, pork loin special , Paella and the mushroom ravioli along with great cheesecake dessert with a beautiful presentation and we liked watching all the activity on the Bryan river!

Thursday evening. Woohoo, not many diners and they are missing a great meal. Friends went the night before and loved it with a great recommendation. The special Shrimp scarparello syle. DELICIOUS !. the wife and I split the steamed clams as an appetizer. Spot on ! garlic, saffron, tomatoes, and a touch of hot sauce. As for the shrimp, it was on a bed of green flat noodles with lots of tomatoes, and peppers. I had mine half sweet and half spicy. My wife went for the red non-spicy peppers. BTW. The dish in total is big enough for two, but you would need more shrimp. A glass of prosecco each and we went home happy/,

It was a pleasant experience. We are outside. The stream running behind the restaurant gave off a musky unpleasant odor and drew a lot of insects. We’re all bitten up. The food was tasty and the waitstaff attentive

Introduced some of my friends to Capers. We had all seafood appetizers which were wonderful. The lamb chop special was fabulous. as was the pasta dishes. Everyone was extremely pleased with their food. I have been coming to Capers for years now and will continue as often as I can. They also have a great Happy Hour!!

Delicious and wonderful! This was my second trip to Capers in two weeks. Simply amazing service and food. The potato and goat cheese dumplings in truffle sauce is to die for. Next time I’ll order a double as my entree! Visit Capers! You’ll be happy you did.

We have been to this restaurant several times recently. This visit was different as we wanted mussels. Three of us sat down to all 3 different preparations. MMMM good. I preferred the mariniers version( white wine and garlic). Another had the fra Diavolo with ligh ted hot flakes. Super tasty. I did not get a report on the basil variety. Each had a thick soup, that we could not finish. Besides the lovely and careful preparation of our drinks, we finally got a taste of their key lime pie. They always were out of it in previous meals. Very good lime citrus flavor and is not too sweet. Too bad, they don't use real whipped cream. All in all, a very more than satisfactory meal.

It’s always a treat at Capers! Now they have Happy Hour starting at 4:30. The food is fresh, and most items are homemade. Everyone is so warm and welcoming (yet also professional), that it’s on the list of “regular” places!

The salad was fresh and its dressing sparkled… not easy at the end of a brutally hot summer day. The staff was welcoming and efficient…also not easy, , especially when you’re serving two women who order one glass of wine and share the salad The Key Lime pie was perfect and the. No olate mousse was good as always. It was another delightful dinner.
