THIS WAS THE BEST RESTAURANT EVER. I have been living in New York City for 8 years. I eat a lot of sushi. This was something so so special. The staff is amazing and the food is a 10/10. I can’t wait to go back!!!

Took my mom here, not my first time 😁. Great foie gras, loved the tuna tataki. Highly recommend the chirashi box, uni risotto was a pleasant surprise. Its quiet, brown and comfy, my sort of dining.

The restaurant is quite small, only 7 tables around and we were placed close to the counter, which feels quite squeezed. The food is like ok, urchin is pretty good but fish is not as fresh as I expected.

The food was great but not my favorite since everything was fairly rich. However, this has more to do with my personal taste and not necessarily reflective of the quality of the restaurant. Our waitress was extremely nice and friendly and I appreciated the low noise level because it allowed for conversations. My one concern is that there wasn't a place to sit when you're waiting for a table.

WORST restaurant. Eat out a deep-fried hair, and the waitress was like “we don’t know what it is” and then she was like “it’s not our cooks’ hair” (paradox). So I deep-dried my hair on a dinner table?? And her attitude was so irritating and took away our unfinished dish without our consent. So gross, disgusting. Came here to celebrate birthday but turned out to be a nightmare.

Food is great. Especially Uni is so fresh and creamy. What really impressed me was their service. The staffs are excellent and attentive, made great recommendations on Sake. Because it’s my birthday, we were provided with free desserts, a slice of cheesecake and a ice cream ball. Very much appreciated!

An oasis of premium Japanese cuisine in perfect combination, balanced flavors and proportion. Delightful fusion pasta dish with truffles. There was nice space between diners. Very nice decor, low-key service, and overall quiet atmosphere improved our taste of each beautiful dish. We will return to try the other dishes. We will also bring more family and friends with us in the days to come. Thank you for keeping the authentic excellence of sashimi and sushi. The fine attention to details such as edible flowers and leaves I enjoyed very much - something new for me. I hope we will continue to be surprised by lovely creations. Thank you.

Very small restaurant with 7 tables, but well spaced. Cute place with nice simple details. Exceptionally good food and beautifully presented. Each serving is a work of art. Agedashi Tofu is amazing. Chirashi Box; assorted sashimi on top sushi rice - buttery sashimi and each piece is wonderful. Black cod appetizer is perfection. Even the green tea ice cream is perfect. Excellent very nice service. A special restaurant.

The overall experience is so great. I was running 20 minutes late but still I got enough time for nicely taste everything. The food is good and fresh. The service is great with the right amount of attention and help. Really enjoyed this experience. Will definitely go again!

I booked to try at Senya during the restaurant week and the food was great! For the restaurant week I think the portion and execution was excellent. Love the fusion flavor yet some dishes still keep it authentic. I’m not big fan of the dessert there but will go back for the food.

I came here during restaurant week, and I think in general it’s a pretty good deal. The 3 course comes with big portion and the food material are fresh. But I do think the taste can be better, I ordered the chirashi box, and several dish are really salty.

Food is not good as I expect during the review on the internet, but the food is still good, very fresh, and tasty. I need to made the reservations 3 weeks ago, not really worth to wait that long and when you try to call them to ask a questions, never have anyone to pick up the phone. Don't think will go again.
