While the food was fine, neither my husband nor I found it to be the same quality as the other Rasika. And we were disappointed because we had taken a client for lunch that day and bragged about how it was one of the top in the city. But I must say we were let down.

Too much hype not enough substance. Worked too hard to be original that the foundational spices and flavors that Indian Food enthusiasts have come to love are lost. Crazy expensive, too, for the small portions. Very disappointing.

Great food, great energy, great service when you can get it. I've dined there several times. On my last visit, our server was disengaged and answered questions perfunctorily. However, the food is always good and you really can't go wrong. I think the Bombay Club owns the Rasikas. The servers should emulate the impeccable servers (and hosts) at the Bombay Clu. In 20 years of eating at Bombay Club, even when I was wrong (had the day of reservation wrong), they have always gone over and beyond. Not so much for Rasika and Rasika West End.

Flavors good, but quite overpriced for pretty standard Indian food. The ambiance is ruined by the restaurant policy to nickel and dime you for every grain of rice or piece of bread. If you buy the chutney, it does not come with anything to eat it with, and you have to shell out another $5 for pappadums. For $3 you can get one small individual sized naan or one small cup of rice. Strangely, none of the vegetarian entrees that cost $14-18 come with rice; only the meat entrees come with a small rice. The mushrooms korma and Indian eggplant were tasty, but there were only a few pieces of vegetable swimming in a (very tasty) sauce. The Andhra chicken curry for $19 did come with a small rice to help with the tasty, very mildly spicy sauce, but the chicken breast was so overcooked and dry that it was hard to eat. On the plus side, each of the curry sauces were very flavorful (but they are too stingy with the rice to allow full enjoyment), and the palak chaat was fantastic. It was overall a pleasant meal if not a particularly good value. It is between a 3 and 4, and I went up because the greeter went out of his way to add a chair to the bar to seat us and the bartenders were very nice. I accidentally rated the other location, but am guessing the menu and policies are the same at both.

This place is not for Indians. This is one of the worst food I ever had in my whole life and travel in 17 countries and 30+ states in USA. First time heard of eating Biryani (not even more than 4 ounce) with hot sauce to feel it spicy (though they never served hot sauce). Quantities of curries and Size of breads are too small (baby size) for the price you are paying. Nothing can be offered to my 3 year old son, shame to say they don't even have plain yogurt (what kind of Indian Restaurant is this). Highly recommend for Diabetic & BP Patients (Hospitals provide much better food than this to their patients) and people who want to put their money in garbage. The chef need to travel to India to get trained about Indian food or Indian taste (don't experiment on us just watching Youtube videos). I am on my way to Philadelphia and felt happy about 4.5 rating on google reviews, but totally buckwaas food and waste of time going there. The staff makes big hangaama, but useless.

The food and staff at this location are outstanding! It was my first time dining at this restaurant and this hit all the marks. I am a huge foodie so I love trying new places and weird food combinations, but Rasika keeps it simple and it is wonderful. The food and decor are elevated and upscale, and the staff were very knowledgeable about each dish which was super helpful (not being a huge risk taker when it comes to Indian food). I would definitely come back!

While their food remains excellent, their customer service has declined recently. It took them three tries to present us with the correct bill, and they may no apologies for their mistakes. Additionally, the servers were intrusive into our personal space, at several points places their hands on the back of my chair and leaning in from behind me, which was creepy and uncomfortable.
