It was crowded as is true most Saturday nights in most restaurants and it appeared they could have used a couple more waitresses, but the ones they had were very efficient and the food was delivered hot and tasty.

Our visit was very disappointing. Black Angus used to be a premier steakhouse restaurant. Now, it is not as good as most chains. The food was barely even so-so. Steaks were not prime cuts. Everything taste quite bland. Althought not terribly busy, the service was slow.

My salmon was way over cooked and not seasoned. My baked potato was over cooked and had turned brown on the inside from being over cooked and old. They messed up my daughter’s order. My husbands beer tasted bad, so we sent it back and they brought us another one. The first beer was from the end of the tap, thankfully the replacement tasted good. Our server was very nice and responsive. She brought out lots of drinks and extra bread. She was very polite and friendly. Honestly, the reason we won’t go back was because the food was so bad and the place looked old and run down.

The food was ok but nothing exceptional. The garden salad and boneless ribeye was ok and the augratin potatoes were bland. The roasted asparagus was excellent. The noise level was nice allowing me to carry on a normal conversation without difficulty.

I cannot remember ever having a worse meal. It began with the molasses bread being as hard as a rock. Normally the bread is very moist but it was a struggle to cut even with the serated steak knife. Then came the salmon entree with a broccoli side. The salmon was severely over grilled and tasteless. The fish was so bad I didn't finish it and for me not to finish my salmon, my favorite food, says a lot. Then the broccoli was so over cooked and tough it was like rubber. After 2 bites I stopped eating it as well. If you're going to charge $28+ for an entree it better be worth it. I can get better salmon at Cheddars for far less $$$.

We were seated promptly. Our Server, Lisa, came shortly after we were seated and took care of us through the whole dinner. Very friendly and efficient. Food was great, temperature of food was good.
