Great spot prior to the theater. We were running a little late due to traffic and told the waiter we were heading to National Theater for a production. The staff was great and expedited our order. Give yourself plenty of time so you are not rushed.

We ordered salads (and that’s it) and they came very quickly and soaked in dressing. Obviously pre-made, which is ok, but it seemed like food that came through a conveyor belt vs. something individually prepared and up to Willard standards.

It was lovely. I only wish the bartender had honored my request for green olives in my Bloody Mary. Asked several times and was ignored. Otherwise, the meal was awesome.

Our server was attentive when we first sat down and took our appetizer and drink order. After the appetizers arrived, we didn't have small plates, so we kept looking for him. A manager noticed us around the ten minute mark and got us plates. Unfortunately, even after this, we didn't see the waiter for another 30 minutes as we sat with empty water glasses, cocktail glasses and appetizer plates. This is when we asked someone to send him to our table. At one point even, my husband motioned to him and he nodded but ignored us. He finally arrived and took our entree orders. While the food was excellent, this was not the service I expected from a restaurant ranked so highly.

It was a great, fun dinner before the theatre. We ordered the onion soup, mussels, & lamb shank. My husband is vegan so it was great to find options like the lamb shank & a bunch of veggie side dishes. The creek brûlée & sorbet desserts were delicious.

Look up "meh" in the dictionary and you should find a picture of this restaurant. It was chosen because of its proximity to the National Theatre and because of the large outdoor area. Imagine the surprise to find the outdoor area closed on a 90 degree day in DC! The interior is a bland, which matches the food. Basically think of an overpriced diner without the ambiance or buzz. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

My first time eating at Cafe du Parc, although we have had board meetings at the Willard for years. The food was excellent, service exceptional and the service was pretty quick. When we left, everyone greeting us with a smile (albeit masked) saying good bye and have a great day!

This used to be my family’s favorite breakfast & brunch place to eat in D.C. (before the pandemic). Post-pandemic, the menu is lacking, the prices are higher, the portions are smaller, and the brunch lacks breakfast items for people with food allergies. Best advice? Eat at First Watch.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner at Cafe du Parc before going to see Six The Musical. Ambience was great overlooking the Willard lobby. Food was good and service exceptional. I highly recommend Cafe du Parc and Six too!

The cobb salad was horrible especially for the price. For $170 we had 2 horrible salads, the lamb shank (which was decent) and 2 gazpacho (also decent). I will not be bringing business clients back.

I cannot say enough about the food and service at this gem of a restaurant. I had a 530 reservation, not realizing that the show I was attending was only 90 minutes long. The restaurant was able to seat us at 3 with no problems. Our water, Tony was efficient, friendly and so professional. Two of us had the beef Bourguignon and really enjoyed it. My daughter had the lamb shank and she enjoyed it but wasn't thrilled with the couscous. The desserts were works of art and just as tasty. They even gave my daughter a free Crème Brulee for her birthday.

Always a hassle to eat here. Never busy but you would think with all the room check and reservation requests it would be worth the wait. It is not. It has never been run well and seems to be getting worse. If your not staying at the Willard find somewhere else to go
