This is a favorite restaurant for us. We can’t go often as it is expensive but we went yesterday for brunch to celebrate family birthdays.
Service was very good, although hostess not very friendly. Food was ok but not up to previous standards. When we got into the buffet, the bacon and scrambled eggs were empty. Took quite a while to be refilled. The breakfast potatoes were very dry— would have been awesome with some butter and onion or something. Or maybe more like hash browns. Salmon was excellent, as was the prime rib. Desserts were a little boring. Maybe a little more variety? Not bad, exactly, but expected more for the price. The man doing omelets was very skilled and friendly.
Overall good but not great. For a bill that ran about $200 for my middle class family of 6, I would have expected a bit more.
Good food, very busy, well managed. Had an extra guest and they accommodated us nicely.
Really enjoyed but was surprised that my birthday wasn’t even mentioned when we ordered dessert. I didn’t expect a free dessert or singing but why ask
Our waitress was excellent. The food choices were varied. The atmosphere was excellent for meeting old friends.
Great service and food! I highly suggest the meatloaf!
One of my all-time favorites, easy to reach and park but need more handicapped spaces. Good servers and food!
I have been to Parkers many times. Yesterday was a little disappointing as the service was a little off. Our drink order was not correct, my salad came without chicken which I had requested. Mistake was corrected quickly. Too much dressing on the salad.
I was less than impressed with their brunch. We had a 1:00 reservation and we were immediately seated. The two waiters helping our party of 9 were great and had drinks on the table very quickly. Aside from the service, there was little else that I would speak highly about. The food, other than the omelette which was made fresh, was dried out and needed to be refreshed. The biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were ROCK HARD... the croissants... ROCK HARD.... the mini muffins... ROCK HARD..... I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not. I ate the omelette, some sausage links, cheesy grits and a few of the mini desserts, but I would hardly call that worth the $24 price tag. This is the second time we were there and the first time was much better, but we were there earlier in the day the first time. I would say, if you're going to go there, go early.
And if the restaurant is reading this, you should take notice that all of your customer should be afforded the same experience, even those that come at the end of brunch. I worked in restaurant management for a number of years and I would always preach to my crew that the last guest of the shift should be treated no different than the first. I don't think Parkers got that memo.
Wonderful as usual. Out servers remembered we had been in before. Refills were brought out in time, the food was hot and all was appetizing.
Extremely slow service
Great evening with friends. Wonderful service. Felt like we were in a private club.
Had a pleasant experience; was on business with a client. Restaurant wasn't overly busy for a Tuesday evening. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Menu was diverse and portions were good. Cocktails were tasty and well-poured.
The service was polite but very slow with servicing the food and processing payment. The appearance is most different than the website. I expected more. I think it's probably a good place to sit at the bar for happy hour.
My wife and I enjoy their prime rib. And for desert the creme brulee cheese cake is awesome.
Nice cozy local restaurant. Huge fireplace in the main dining room and a large bar with live music on weekends. Private room for parties. Good variety of menu items and everything we had was very tasty. Service staff very attentive and friendly.
I would like to give our waiter special notice for the great and attentive service he gave us. His recommendations were on the money and he was not obtrusive. He is a real asset to your restaurant.
Being greeted upon entering, THE BEST SERVER a patron could ever expect, and the final note of great food earns Parker's an A+. Salmon / chicken pot pie / chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes--
were our choices. Each one was exactly as described and delicious.
Food was good. We sat next to a group that was a bit noisy. Service was excellent.
Disappointing. My husband asked for his hamburger to be cooked medium, but it came out looking exactly like my son's burger, which was medium rare. He sent it back and it came back well done! Also, he ordered a certain beer from the waitress, but she came back and said they were out of it, so he ordered a different beer. When he checked the bill, the original beer he had asked for was also billed. Won't be back.
Needed a quick weeknight late dinner for a small group of us. Only thing available was the bar area apparently, so ambiance in there not great. Had seen its better days. However, food was great! Recommend the Chop Salad, I think it was, w/red onion, bleu crumbles... and the French Onion soup. Friend got Chicken Pot Pue and said it was delish! Would love to return on a normal afternoon or evening, and use the regular dining area. I think it would have much more atmosphere. Also, had a very cozy outdoor looking dining area when the weather is accommodating!
Overall we enjoy Parkers, my wife had a great meal, I can not say the same for me. I had the short ribs and did not enjoy them at all. We will go back, but not for the short ribs.
We enjoyed a nice Birthday meal for my husband. We're both gluten-free and they were very accommodating with a GF menu. HE was able to enjoy a delicious filet, and I was very happy with a spinach salad with shrimp. We loved the atmosphere with cozy spaces and fireplaces. Service was attentive and helpful.
Nice atmosphere and great service. The food is always good and the desserts are to die for.
Very nice ambiance - both outside and inside. Menu is updated regularly, food is very good. Service was good - but they had run out of my first choice entrée. Great bar area for after meal!
Meatloaf was great! The bar had issues when we were there, however the server made sure we were taken care of. That was a class act by our server! We will be back!
We had a pleasant evening and the waitress was exceptional!
Service by Eric was excellent. We ordered the Dynamite Sticks since they were recommended, and they did not disappoint, especially while dipping them into the tomato-cheese sauce they came with. We also had the French onion soup, also delicious. We both ended up ordering salmon - my husband ordered a very flavorful and appealing-looking Asian salmon salad, and I ordered a Caesar with salmon. My salmon was oven baked, but I would have rather had it prepared another way. It was cooked perfectly to medium, as I requested, but it could have used a little more seasoning and with a little more Caesar dressing on the salad. All in all, we enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back to try the prime rib, since that IS their specialty.
First time here, will definitely be back! Great experience all around!
Excellent service. They were busy the staff are calm and collected and take their time. A manager delivered the food and knew who got what without asking. LOVED THE POUTINE! My 1st time having it. Great for a shared appetizer. I loved their straws served in soft drinks. It fills up but niose level is soft. I want to go back in winter to enjoy the fireplaces. Great decor to look at. Great night out to celebrate uncle's 70th. You can dress up or dress casual. It could be a tad brighterand cooler right now and it's humid inside.
We had a good experience other than having the general manager be rude to our friends that we had brought here from out of town!!
Salmon tacos were a Great addition to the bar menu
Love that Chicken Pot Pie!! This is a great place for a business lunch!
Average food -- too expensive for the entrees offered, although beverages are included, but I'd prefer better entrees. Most looked like left-overs (beef hash & mac&cheese using left-over seafood perhaps? Was chewy).
The food was amazing! Creme brulee cheesecake was the best! We will definitely be going back!
The Prime Rib was not up to the usual wonderful favor and texture.
My husband and I was celebrating our Anniversary and wanted to try something new and we are glad that we did from the salad to the desserts everything was excellent along with our excellent server Eric we will for sure be back again!
Our waiter was fabulous and the food was delicious!
Sully was the best waiter I ever had! Food was great and the service even better! It's a little pricey but worth it.
Incredible food and service!! Will defintiely go back!
The food was absolutely delicious!
