Currently, Tavern 29 has three floors of service available. Our outdoor rooftop is open but with an enclosure for the winter season. With two interior bars for service, there is ample space for great cocktails, beers, wines, and food.

Ordered wings for app along with veggie burger and hamburger for meals. Wings came out well after the meal which was unfortunate. Good wings with lots of flavour. Hamburger was good but veggie burger was horrible. One big mush Pattie with no substance.

We went on a Friday at 1pm and the place was pretty dead. Somehow it still took about 30 minutes for them to take our order. We then had to rush through lunch to go back to work. I wouldn’t suggest going here on your lunch break.

Greek salad swimming in dressing asked for no red peppers. Smothered in diced red peppers. Got fried chicken on a salad asked for grilled. Really uncomfortable chairs. Waitress was nice. We sat upstairs. Was pretty hot for November. Ok with bringing my dog. So that was good. I never give reviews!

We were a small group of friends meeting for lunch. The place was rather empty with a few guests sitting at the bar, which made for a relaxing experience as we did not feel rushed. We sat in one of the "private room" alcoves. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The California Chicken Sandwich was delicious and the french fries were nice and crunchy, not greasy. Others in the group had the veggie burger with salad and commented that the salad dressing was different than the usual dressings and very good. The veggie burger was quite tasty as well. There was a large selection of beer. All meals were generous portions. I would recommend Tavern 29.

I was so hangry when we arrived for brunch. We were right on time for our reservation and while our booth was cute, it was right under the staircase. Anyway, bottomless brunch began. The Bloody Mary was ordered spicy and it was! More olives next time plz. My omelette was so good and the side salad was plentiful. My dining companions ordered fries and I sampled a couple. Absolutely perfect! Our server was attentive without rushing us. I have done brunch all over the city and Tavern 29 could easily be a regular dining place. Thanks.

It was a decent place. There was no hostess when we arrived; had to walk to the bar but no one walked over to greet or ask how they could help. Walked to the rooftop to ask for assistance and just ended up sitting upstairs. Drinks were amazing! The food order was a bit messy- received our main course before the “appetizers” and one of the appetizers was the wrong order. Oh and had an unexpected visitor (a mouse) that came and went. Hey, after all it’s NYC!

The mice were A LOT and I didn’t appreciate the response that this is NYC? We had to move and when we looked back 3 mice were under our table. The wings were COLD when they came out but the drinks were good. I just didn’t appreciate the way the tv volume was turned down without warning and the excuse that the neighbors will complain and we should just go downstairs. Not a very pleasant experience and will never go there again. EVER. Please set some nose traps or something. That was pretty disgusting Ans I am hoping the rats were not in the kitchen.

The food was amazing and the servers were really nice. The only negative was that the tap water tasted terrible and the mimosas were warm and watered down. The bottomless mimosas were still worth it though for the price.

Lured in by the online menu and outdoor seating, I reserved an outdoor table (vs rooftop or standard) for two. There is no outdoor seating other than rooftop which was boisterous, humid, hot and nothing special to see. The menu offered at the table didn’t have what was online so we didn’t get the food we wanted to order. So—no ambiance and bait and switch menu equals a lane disappointing experience.

AWFUL. We went for bottomless brunch. The Server was immediately rude while was asked which table to sit at. Got there early and sat down to wait for our other friends and the server told us our bottomless timer started as we sat down(we had not gotten water or any drinks at this point). We explained that our reservation was was for 1:15 and we were 10 minutes early. Server rudely said our timer has started, so we all got up walked down 2 flights of stairs to then wait till 1:15 to go back up the stairs to sit down again. So we didn’t lose time for our bottomless brunch. I will never be going back to this restaurant.

the food and drinks were great! I loved sitting at the rooftop. It was very aesthetic, very instragramable lol. Anyway the waitress was very nice and kept checking up on us. I would recommend this place to be honest.
