   A Nice bistro with a limited menu, which we like. Food was average especially considering the high prices. Excellent macarons , but overall have eaten much better around town at these prices.

   Had the pork shank and it’s fantastic. Onion soup seems a little different that it used to be. Not as much cheese. P66 is always good.

   Always delicious and a wonderful experience. It is a bit pricey but well worth the expense in my opinion. And I suppose it's not required to order bottles of bubbles. But it's just so much more fun that way!

   Delicious food and atmosphere, however my son got a bowl of French onion soup and there was barely any cheese on it. Just a little sprinkle on top of the bread not typical of French onion soup with cheese gooing all over the top. A bit disappointed.

   Excellent French onion soup, sausage and chicken confit were great. I don't order chicken in a restaurant. I'd go back for this. Our wait staff, Jin Jin, was wonderful. We had concert tickets so she really helped with our order. Unlike the vast number of restaurants now, we could actually have a conversation without someone's idea of techno music for dinner.

    Second edit: see the table setup picture, it was taken when I sat down, which was 9:27. Don’t know why you saw 9:20. About the salty lobster mousse, I only had two bites because it’s too salty. I spoke to the waiter and she said she’ll let the kitchen know. But there’s nothing else. I thought there would be more conversation. I can see staff were busy that night, but to be honest, will things be different? A great lesson learned from you😁 Edit: to whoever replies to my comment, can’t you see my name with this review? Who am I speaking to, if you said you don’t hide your name? We had a reservation near 10pm, so the restaurant was about to close. There’s no excuse you put us waiting for more than 10 minutes. The manager in charge should have been aware of the busy situation. Instead, he said nothing to us. A few times he passed by the counter, he didn’t say how much more time we had to wait even if we had eye contact. I don’t want to be a Karen or make a scene, so I didn’t say anything. How about the manager? I’ve never been treated like this in other restaurants. ———————————— original review ———————————— We went to Paris 66 on Valentine’s Day. We arrived on time but was put waiting at the counter for more than 10 minutes. When we sat down, there was not even full. So it was the staff there toooooooo busy so that no person helped to setup our table. The menu was V-Day special. The bread in the Foie Gras au Torchon is a bit wet, I thought it should be more crunchy. So it’s hard to bite off. The second course Lobster Mousse was way too salty. I never had such salty lobster at any restaurant in NYC or Boston. Not even saying how pricey this restaurant is in Pittsburgh. The third course I ordered is scallop. It’s really nice. Really really nice. Nicer than most of the scallops I have had. The dessert I ordered is Strawberry mousse in a dark chocolate “bowl”. It’s just so-so. I thought French dessert would be more pretty and delicate and delicious.

I would never do that myself because I am a very direct person. Did you talk to my Manager about this or me that evening? No, because again, you decided to hide. You should have, so we could have corrected any issue. About the little wait, coming in the middle of the rush, this is a normal procedure. Too bad you do not understand. A bientot quand meme!

    The reason I didn’t speak to you that day is because I don’t know the original price. Escargot is $18, foie gras torchon is $28 with more than double of the portion, scallops $41, and the dessert $11/12 - are you saying your beautiful lobster mousse is $50? Also we have a regular reservation table next to us. They came half hour later than us but their main entree was served earlier. The food is good especially for the scallops, and the place is great when we visited before, but what I’m saying is only the “experience” which makes no difference in service or even slower and more expensive in price. Original comment- Much much overpriced (same food but 3 times more expensive than regular menu). Everything is slower compared to regular reservations. We made the “experience” reservation but not a single food/service is different from usual but the price…

Our beautiful 4 course menu was completely different than our regular one. Why are you writing this review anonymously? Why didn't you say anything to me or my Manager that evening?     Unfortunately our visit coincided with the weekend before Valentines Day. The restaurant was extremely busy and all staff was working hard and never stopped moving. I choose to believe that this is what contributed to mistakes made with our food. I order the chèvre chaud salad- for $22. It came without the chèvre - which made it an extremely expensive salad. I told the manager and our waitress; it took 15 minutes-for 3 Crostini with chèvre chaud. At that point I was done with my salad. I ordered a $45 chateaubriand filet medium rare. Sadly, it came pretty close to well. At that point it was so long into service- I didn’t say anything. I didn’t eat save the cut I made in the middle to see if it were any less cooked there. The waitress didn’t even notice. At that point, I’m sure the offers would have been made to re-fire the meat order -but that is just wasteful and God knows how long it would have taken. I would give this place another chance. But, it was a very disappointing meal for the price we paid.

    This restaurant was really nice and really sweet and we had a wonderful time. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is that I thought it was just a little bit pricey. One of the reasons for that is that they bill themselves as an every day french fare restaurant, but their wine list is all pretty pricy. A few less expensive options would fit the ambiance of the restaurant a lot. Either way, we'll definitely be back

Concerning our wine, we only sell French wines and they they are, indeed, more expensive for me to purchase.     Food is just okay. I had the lamb shank and it was way overcooked—dry on the outside and inside. The accompanying prunes were so overcooked they were mush and had no flavor. The side of green beans were brown and mushy (overcooked). My partner had the short rib and that was good, even if the sauce was a bit overdone and pasty. The mussels were also good—well cooked but not particularly flavorful. The creme brûlée was good—warm on top cool underneath. We really wanted to like the place because we love French cuisine but this place is subpar.

We even laugh about the "Cafe a l'orange". Ha, ha! As you already know, I am French and Paris 66 is authentic . You did not have lamb shank. You had Pork shank with prunes and Armagnac. We cook and confit in our ovens for almost 3H. The meat comes off the bone and it is so incredibly good. Saying we are below average is very condescending. A bientot!

    Very welcoming from the time we entered the front door. Our server was very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. This was our visit and came to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day. We will definitely return.

    Really enjoyed our family dinner experience last night. Escargot was perfectly made and the scallops were sweet and juicy. Love the owner coming around to each table hoping each person is enjoying their experience. Last again for a wonderful evening.

    Food was excellent, and service was on point. The price fix menu was top noch. Portions were small enough that we didn't feel we'd over-eated, even with desert. We left with the feeing you get when you've had really good food.

    We went for restaurant week 2023. The wait for food was incredibly long and portions were a bit small but overall it was cozy and the food was good.
