Really enjoyed the fresh guacamole! Disappointed in limited dessert options; was hoping for flan. Nice selection of tacos, with choice of salmon or tilapia for the fish tacos.

Food was decent even though my steak was medium and not rare as requested. Service was great! Noise level was a little too high for comfort. Guacamole was great but they were a little stingy with the chips.

A very cute neighborhood restaurant with a lively bar in front and seating in the back, both inside and outside. The food and service was very good and we had an adorable waitress. The place is very popular – even early on a Wednesday evening in February, it was packed and there was not an empty table. We shared grilled shrimp and carnitas tacos and guacamole. All of it was very good! The sangria was good too. I have only one complaint: there is a very strange smell in the front which hits you hard as you come in or leave. It’s hard to identify… kind of greasy old stale odor which is really unpleasant. They should do something about that! We are lucky to have this good restaurant in Fairmount!

The food and service are always excellent here! The tacos are amazing and drinks are always yummy. There were a few really loud parties so maybe some soft surfaces to cut that noise. Highly recommend for the food and service though.

Great atmosphere, extensive menu with something for everybody, and stellar service! Our host was exceptionally attendant. We ordered the tuna ceviche, salmon Al pastor tacos, and short rib enchiladas. Each was so fresh and well done! I will definitely be coming back. Amazing margs too!!

Love this Fairmount neighborhood Mexican spot! The food and drinks are fantastic, and the ambiance is great. Asked for vaccine status upon arrival (thank you!). Had a great spot in the covered patio - still warm and comfortable even on Philly's coldest weekend. Will be back!

Not sure if this changed ownership but I assume it did because of the name change. I must say its been about 2 years since I've come here but my 4th time dining with them and there has been somewhat of a dip in the quality of the food. It was still good but previously it was outstanding, all 3 previous occasions. It was also really quiet for some reason which was odd to me.

We had a great experience at Cantina Feliz! Our waitress was so kind and we dined during happy hour. We both ordered margaritas and took our waitress’s suggestion on the grand and tropical margaritas. They were so good. The nachos were top notch and we will definitely dine here again.

Due to last minute change from our planned trip to NYC decided to revisit Calaca for my 70th birthday celebration bringing my husband for the 1st time (he's 81). As in previous visits, enjoyed the guac sampler (especially the fig, blue cheese, and bacon) & chorizo fundido (addition of peppers was great) . Menu has changed a bit since our last visit & appear to have(understandable) price increases. Disappointed there were no "specials". We're always excited by new items. All enjoyed their entree choices. a little disappointed there was no acknowledgement of birthday, but perhaps staff were distracted by rather angry discussion at adjacent table with much larger group of diners. We'll be back when weather improves in the spring.

We had an incredible dining experience at Cantina Feliz. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our server was amazing! And let’s not forget the food. We ordered the Mahi and Baja taco and guacamole with chips and they were all really good. The tropical and original margarita were also very good. Overall, we had a great time and highly recommend.
