Beautiful restaurant overlooking the canal from floor to ceiling windows. Waiter attentive and kind. Food delicious. I had beet burrata salad, Pucanha steak with mushroom sauce on the side, baked potato and mini zucchini. Orange chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Others had salmon over lentils with small sautéed onion, delicious chowder to start. Definitely recommend.

6:30 seating on Valentines Day with Prix Fix menu. 20 minutes for cocktails to arrive. Entrees arrived 5 minutes after salad course - sent them back to the kitchen. Scallops were very good, but Filet Mignon was chewy and a bit overcooked. The dessert for two was both a visual and gustatory delight - and it saved the evening. Miel bills itself as a: "rustic European-style restaurant serves classic American favorites for breakfast and elegant, seasonally inspired dishes for dinner" - maybe that's aspirational ... only 1 French red wine? Maybe they are still trying to come back from the pandemic? This experience was just another meal in another hotel restaurant... and I've eaten in more than a few with far better experiences.

We booked a table at Miel for New Year’s Eve. We were surprised by the number of open tables on a night that usually busy for most restaurants in Boston. The service was slow and impersonal. The food was well prepared but came out cold. Our drinks were lack luster. The desserts were unimpressive. Overall, Miel has availability because they are not up to the task. This place is poorly run. The service is too slow and not professional. The food comes out cold because the servers are disorganized. Too bad for the Intercontinental. The restaurant needs an upgrade or pretty soon it will be more empty.

Was super excited to eat here for thanksgiving. Steak was cooked perfectly and the service was friendly. However our appetizer salads were not as described. They contained heavy amounts of radicchio, a very bitter vegetable that is usually grilled. Very confused about that. We noticed every table around us was picking out their radicchio and even sending back their salads. And my husbands brussel sprout salad had no Brussels sprouts lol. Very strange but hey waiter gave us free wine!

We ate at 5pm so it was quiet which was good! Service was excellent. Restaurant is beautiful and wonderful view of the water. Outside seating but we choose inside air conditioning. Quinoa salad was amazing. A few vegetarian items. My lychee martini was also very enjoyable. Overall a wonderful night.

It was Friday just before sunset, the view from the restaurant was amazing. The buildings had the late afternoon sunlight bouncing off them, people were walking along the wharf front. The food was as terrific as I remembered. There was a Company party that took over most of the bar area so the noise level was higher than it would have been otherwise. I thought it was great to see and hear people socializing again so the noise and the event made me happy.

The food was delicious, wine and ambiance was wonderful. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because our server was a little curt. I’m so used to friendly wait staff, so I was hesitant to ask for a group photo, being my birthday, because I felt like he just wanted to end his shift. He knew it was a birthday, but didn’t offer a greeting. It sort of pout a damper on my evening.

The service at Miel was fantastic. We went to celebrate two birthdays and the servers went out of their way to make the evening special. They brought glasses of champagne and cake for the birthday guy/gal and were the perfect amount of attentive while letting us enjoy the evening. The food was fantastic too! The scallops were delicious and all of the dishes had generous portions. Id highly recommend!
