La pasión del restaurante Claire's es una fabulosa comida y un servicio excepcional en el ambiente informal pero elegante, logrado en una recién remodelada estación de tren histórica y centenaria que ofrece cocina americana contemporánea, local y diseñada por la temporada, con un aire sureño. La renovación hace honor al carácter histórico del depósito de trenes Warrenton, lo que resultó en un ambiente cálido y confortable para reuniones informales con amigos, u ocasiones especiales e íntimas comidas familiares.     Claire's at the Depot is a fabulous meeting spot for lunch when 4 are trying to meet half way from Richmond to Winchester to catch up. Small "just right"menu items and presented to impress. One in our gp. likes her desert before she has her lunch and gets the flourless chocolate cake. Yum. There is something for everyone with plenty of meat and potatoes.... We meet there several times a year and in the winter the fireplaces are a nice touch. Quaint with exceptional service.

    Besides the wonderful food offerings, the entire staff at Claire's aims to please--and they succeed The warm berry mix with vanilla ice cream last night was certainly tasty, but we were puzzled as to why it was called a "crisp." We make crisps at home often and they always have and oats-brown sugar-butter topping.

    It is ALWAYS a treat to dine at Claire's. Great food in a warm and friendly environment. the food is obvoiusly the "star of the show" and the front of house staff is outstanding, but one must believe that Claire has assembled an equally great kitchen staff. We go to Claire's for all our special occassions and always enjoy our evenings at Claires

    Great selection of menu items. My wife chose the trout (lunch special) and loved it. My burger was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and the server clearly understood we were out for a relaxed lunch and did not rush us. Best of all was dessert - mixed berry crumble with vanilla gelato - simply outstanding! We are looking forward to next visit!

    Main courses were excellent, salads were very good, the tres leches cake was dry and could be improved. Overall the prices were good for an upscale restaurant.

    Everything was wonderful. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful evening. Service was exceptional and the food was superb. One of us had prime rib and the other had drunken shrimp with crabmeat. Absolutely amazing. This was the first time I visited Claire's but it won't be the last. Highly recommended it
