Scheduled a work breakfast for 8:00am. We had to leave at 9:00 at which time the food had still not arrived and staff had not given us any information.
Had a wonderful meal at Tiny's , stopped for lunch , every dish loked good . great quality but pricey.
I think what ever you may order will be great !!
Food was outstanding - high priced, but that won’t keep me away.
Adorable little restaurant with incredible brunch!
Amazing food and ambiance. Cool bar with the best cocktails. We love Tiny’s!
A PERFECT lunch spot ❤️
I live in the Nieghborhood and they say us in the corner and told us this was the only avaibme seatjng . We couldn’t even lift our elbows up to eat. They moved us to another table then told us they had a reservation for the new table and we would have to leave
I would have rated this visit five stars across the board, but we were seated next to a particularly loud family with kids old enough to use inside voices.
great food specially oysters!! matzo ball soup to die for. totally going back. bar upstairs is excellent too.
Small and cozy. Really good food!
Make a reservation!
We asked to be sat next to the fireplace. Instead we were put upstairs in what was essentially a cubby hole of a corner.
We asked for three salads with no walnuts. Only one came that way. No apologies.
We ordered beverages. They arrived 15 minutes later.
Our waitress was nowhere to be found after we ordered.
I am not sure what happened to Tiny’s, but this is not the restaurant I once knew and loved.
We felt so badly treated by the waitress, who acted like we were just a nuisance and not worthy of her time or attention, that we left as soon as we could. I don’t know what we did to make her hate us, but she seemed to have a ”vendetta” with us before we even got a chance to order. So weird. I guess she didn’t think we were cool enough or something. Very childish and embarassing behaviour, I hope she grows up and realises that she might be better off in another type of work environment.
Great spot for a cozy dinner with old friends - we enjoyed the fireplace, the cocktails, and the delicious food.
Tiny's NEVER disappoints! A rare combination of unique atmosphere, delicious food and drink and a kind, helpful staff. No place like it in NYC!!
This is my go to breakfast place for business meetings. Breakfast is delicious, coffee one of my faves in the city.
fast becoming my favorite place. needs better music though that matches the ambiance. more chill.
Disappointing experience at Tiny's after opting for the location based on a friend's recommendation. The 'bar upstairs' seats about 4 people, the lighting kept dimming lower and lower throughout our meal and the tables are insanely tight and small. They attempted to seat our party of 3 in the corner with one chair facing a wall and the other slammed up to the wall so tight that a right-handed diner would be unable to move properly to enjoy the meal. The food was quite delicious and most items on the menu allowed for sharing. If you do feel like a dark, 'tiny' dining experience, enjoy cocktails at your table for four and don't miss the meatballs on the menu!
Love this experience
Yes the restaurant is Tiny!!. Nice atmosphere and our server was great. Food was mediocre...small portions and extraordinarily over priced.
Great breakfast! Yummy food. Loved it. I had an egg bowl and my husband had egg sandwich. So delicious.
Previous visits were better than this recent one.....The staff all appeared to have taken beta-blockers, they were so laid back, and the noise level from some larger groups was rather oppressive. But overall, the food was tasty, and our wine was decent/decent value. It's a nice place.
I’ve been a few times. I love the duck and steak at dinner. Brunch is also good. Huervos Rancheros and steak with eggs are killing it. The cocktails and wine are excellent and reasonably priced. It’s a great vibe and friendly, competent service. Excellent location, and so much better than the more famous place next door that is full of tourists. Bree is especially wonderful if she is working when you go!
Food was ok, service was great
Food was fantastic. Service was solid as well. Great atmosphere. Will be returning.
Super tasty and with a non corporate ambiance. A nice place to have lunch if you live or work in Tribeca. The kale salad is huge! Prices may have gone up recently because salad is now $18. The meatballs are a good appetizer too.
Reuniting with a college best friend and former roommate
A great place for friends reuniting. Lots of people, high energy, farm to table dining. Atmosphere raucous. Food delicious.
I love the scallop meal, however, I wish it has the option to serve 3 or 6. I understand the scallop is very expensive seafood. If the owner could have the option to charge 34 dollars for 3 scallops or 6 scallops for $40-44. I would personally pay $40-44 for 6 scallops, I seriously would. It just too stupid good. I kept either taking small tiny bite of scallops because I didn’t want it all to be gone already!!!
Tiny's is one of my favorite breakfast spots in NYC. The Superfood Pancake is a must. If you like veggies and green in your meal, this decision is a no brainer.
Meatballs very good. Got the risotto and cavatelli dinners that were very good. Sat downstairs in the back with tables jammed on top of each other. The chairs are horrible -why?Waitress was marginal and I had her butt literally by my face when she was taking the other tables order. One couple picked up their own dinners and walked outside when a sidewalk table opened up. The food outweighed any negatives but 1 app and 2 dinners $89 with tip - only had water to drink - a bit pricey for the experience.
Uncomfortable seating. Chairs are so bad I had to go for 3 walks/ stretches during dinner. Service indifferent. Prices way out of line with quality and ambiance Apps ok. Mains beyond disappointing. Duck and salmon horribly over cooked and bland
Service was very slow for a non busy Sunday morning
Food was good but over priced.
They forgot my drink and once they brought it it wasn’t very good
Ambiance and staff very nice just a bit disappointed
Very simple, very poor quality of the food.Very kind service and..nothing all
Loved everything about it!
Food, timing of the food served!
Waitress, receptionist, bartender all awesome!
Tiny’s Holds a special spot for my husband and I. It’s where we had our first date, so we have been back a few times since then. The ambiance is intimate and cozy. The food is a blend of American with touches of French and Italian. The execution however is a hit or miss. This particular night, all our dishes except the Ceviche were all heavily salty. I found myself drinking glass after glass of water. Even my husband mentioned it. From the saffron mussels, chicken, and tater tots the chef must have been sick that day or heavy handed on the salt.
Despite its hit or miss execution, we will always be returning. The service is a bit cold and superficial. It’s a shame, it can be a stellar neighborhood gem.
Heirloom tomato salad! Great service too. Thanks!
Excellent food. great atmosphere. small, cosy and a good NYC hangout.
Service could be on the slow side but always super smiley.
One toilet cubbical for the whole place is rubbish.
always a pleasure, feels small and intimate and cozy. Easy to converse.
Food was good, as always. But we had to wait 1/2 hour for our table and service was painfully slow.
My boyfriend and I decided to be spontaneous and do a weekday date night, and since Tiny's was hosting restaurant week - we thought let's give it a try. The story I'm about to tell you, I wish I was exaggerating...
We arrive on time, the host doesn't even talk to us for 10 minutes as she's running right past us and continues to say I'll be right with you. We eventually get seated. It takes another 10 minutes for water to come and the back area is so hot as its adjacent to the kitchen. My boyfriend was sweating the entire meal profusely. (I guess they don't believe in A/C either). Then we finally get our water and menus and before I ask him to bring the restaurant week menu, our waiter has vanished. We wait another 15 minutes till I can get his attention (he didn't come by to ask for our food.) Please take note, this restaurant downstairs is very small. So he eventually brings us the menu, we decided to order quickly as we hope that will expedite the process. Long story short we were there for over two hours and the waiter eventually offered a complimentary glass of wine after I complained that we'd been waiting for a hour for our main course. Once the main arrives, I got the pesto cavatelli with peas- I'm not a picky eater, it tasted like I was eating the bottom of a frozen peas bag laced with salt. He shared that they had one big party which backed up the kitchen. If you know you're going to have a large group, a restaurant needs to be prepared. If you dare decide to try out this place, I would call ahead not to make a reservation - but make sure there aren't any large parties before you make a reservation.
Honestly, the look of the restaurant was funky and cool. I would maybe go for a drink, but wouldn't stay longer than 30 minutes. I would not recommend. There are so many other great places in Tribeca.
