We had the thanksgiving special and it was fabulous at a reasonable price. The manager was very attentive and personable, checking on all the customers often (but not too often). Service was what you would expect at Morton’s and we were not disappointed

We sat at the bar. Our bartender/server Patrick navigated our food restrictions as a pro. Delicious steak & potatoes, salad, crab cakes, and lamb chops. They even offered a shuttle to transport us to a concert a few blocks away!

The food was truly wonderful, as was the extensive wine list. My wife had the sea bass and it was cold. Waitress was inattentive, not helpful and generally shockingly poor in execution of her duties. Her boss had to step in twice to attend to her needs. My surf and turf was very good. I would suggest proper training, and was surprised that Morton's had this lady on the floor.

Great date night, little dinner before attending comedy show. Vallet, greeter, staff, chef and manager were all very nice and personable. Manger and Chef both came over to our table introduce themselves and welcomed us to their restaurant, which was a nice touch. Atmosphere was great, drinks good, food was good even though my steak came out medium rare instead of medium well and smoked gouda and bacon au gratin potatoes was a little undercooked. Besides that, was a great evening, even though, we didn't get a chance to try their dessert menus we would definitely come back again.

Took my wife here before heading to the hobby center for a show. I have been to the original Morton's in Chicago before so I was looking forward to a great steak dinner. When we arrived, I was surprised to see that on a Saturday night at 6pm there was only one other table occupied with patrons in the restaurant. While we were there only four or five other groups arrived. The restaurant remained empty when we left at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Our server was nice and prompt, although did not have the level of knowledge about the menu you would expect in a high end steakhouse. We ordered cocktails.... My old fashioned was mediocre at best. The bread and salad were fine, nothing special but not bad. Main course was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. With so many other steakhouses downtown, I'm not sure why anyone would come back here, unless they didn't know better. My wife's sea bass was inedible, smelled and tasted extremely fishy and tasted like it came from the freezer. My Filet was the worst steak I have ever had in a high end steakhouse, barely hot enough, not seasoned well and clearly had been frozen. When you pay $60 for a steak you expect a great meal. We ended up skipping dessert based on how the rest of the meal went. Do not come here, there are so many other options to pick from.

I have been enjoying Morton's a lot recently. I go here often for business appointments and I now can say the service is consistently good, the food (ribeye is usually what I get) is excellent, and the overall value is solid. When full, the noise can be a bit high but manageable, as opposed to other places in downtown.

The wife and I dined in to celebrate our anniversary. Nothing but five stars all around. Food was great! Our server was very attentive and provided great recommendations. But what made the evening special, were the little details they did to recognize the occasion. We look forward to returning for a date night!

It was restaurant week and decided to take advantage of a deal. I e been here many times before and all good. I don’t know if they use the same quality beef for these special priced deals and the taste was just okay. They normally bring out bread after you order drinks but had to ask, not a big deal. But I guess what made it feel worse is that the waiter was trying to get us to join Landrys rewards club for a $25 deposit. All I wanted really was a good meal. I dunno this time

My wife and I visited for our Anniversary, the staff recognized our special occasion, decorated the table, printed an Anniversary menu, gift wrapped one for us and ensured to congratulate us. We opted for the HRW menu which was well worth the price, portions were big, and nothing disappointed. Will definitely be back.

We had never been to Morton's Steakhouse before, although we have wanted to go for many years. Their Houston Restaurant Weeks promotion intrigued us this year and we decided to go for lunch one weekday. Little did we know that the promotion was just for dinner. The restaurant management and staff were very gracious and accommodating and allowed us to enjoy the promotion for lunch time service. Every aspect of our dining experience was outstanding and with the promotion we utilized, it was an outstanding value. We were really treated like royalty and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We cannot thank the management and staff enough for the experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

I ordered the Chicken Christopher & my husband ordered the NY Strip Steak. The chicken Christopher didn’t have much flavor but was fine. The NY Strip was cooked perfectly for his liking (medium rare) but the quality was poor. The lobster bisque was fantastic though!

Service was absolutely horrible for as high class as this restaurant is supposed to be. Our waiter went 30 minutes without checking in on us. We called the manager over to let him know, and he comped items off our ticket,but that didn’t need to be done. The damage was already done and I will never go back. Which is sad to say because the food was delish.

we ordered the 8oz filet mignon and it was AMAZING. my medium was cooked to perfection, flavor was 10/10 super juicy! definitely don’t need any sauce for this, the macaroni and lobster was pretty good as well and that key lime pie was to die for 😫 definitely recommend! the stuffed ravioli appetizer was also up there with the mignon, definitely coming back in next time im in Houston :)

It was an OK experience. Biggest disappointment was the waiter insisting that instead of wrapping our remaining bread to go, he would provide a fresh loaf. Inside the bag, there was no loaf. It was our very special Wedding anniversary and the waiter did not offer an extra dessert or even ask which anniversary it was for that matter… Not the worst experience, but would not return.
