Was disappointed in ordering the shredded chicken chilaquiles and receiving soggy chips and chicken chunks. Guacamole was also no longer table side and the salsa was just hot sauce.

As long time patrons, this visit was disappointing. The wine we were served was not from the same vintner as shown on the menu which we specifically ordered because we had it previously and loved it. The waiter opened it before we could point this out and the wine was far inferior to what we believed we had ordered. The crab croquettes tasted frozen and more of the filler and less of crab. The meal was rushed by Fonda as we received our entrees before we were halfway through our appetizers (perhaps because it was particularly busy- Cinco de Mayo). The lime pie special dessert was very bland and not at all tart or limey as expected. We will return but will try to select a less busy day and time for a more relaxing dinner.

Fonda never disappoints with 5 star food and service. A vibrant bar scene and family friendly atmosphere invites diners to visit this upscale Mexican eatery more often. Cheers to Fonda.

The food was good, but we waited over two hours for the food and I had to ask multiple times for the waiter to come by to take our order. We were sat at 12:30 and didn’t leave until 3 PM.

Nice for an afternoon drink and lunch. Back patio seating was comfy. The Rosalina was very yummy. Had a few. Food was typical Mexican, as expected.
