Delightfully pleasant in dealing with last-minute accommodation of wheelchair. Very attentive service and response to special requests. Comfortable outdoor service for drinks as parties arrived at different times. Lovely indoor space for dinner. Excellent food. Short walk to Jazz at Lincoln Center. Wonderful choice!

The three of us shared excellent and not greasy fried calamari. We all had the outstanding lamb chops dinner and while this a la carte dish is not cheap, it’s well priced for Midtown Manhattan. The restaurant has a wide variety of prix fixe dinners at $34.95 including appetizer, entree, dessert and coffee or tea included. We had two different types of baklava and an excellent chocolate pudding with almonds. The service is fast and friendly. I have dined here for years.

Conveniently located near City Center, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Great quality Turkish food, friendly staff and unpretentious location. Not a place to linger, but you will have a very good meal with lot of choices.

After requesting an outdoor patio table when booking (called twice) we were seated in the sidewalk hut. The food was OK-not great. Table was very tight. Not a great experience.

Everything we had was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend ordering a bunch of stuff and sharing. The ABA combo was a great way to taste all the meats. The staff is great, the food amazing and reasonably priced.

This gem of a restaurant is one of my favorites in NYC. The food is delicious. I often go with friends and we make a dinner comprised of hot and cold mezze. Their entrees are also excellent. The restaurant decor is pretty basic, but more than made up for by the warmth, service and attention of the staff. The prices are modest, particularly for this area of the City - it is in convenient walking distance of Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. ABA has both indoor and outdoor seating.

We ate outdoors because, once again, A/C was not working inside. We sat right outside the entrance and it’s very nice dining there. Their weekday prix fixe at $34.95 includes appetizer, entree, dessert plus tea or Turkish coffee and all the Turkish bread you can eat. The selections are authentic Turkish food. ABA is one of my go to restaurants for dining near Lincoln Center.

We ate early and it was not very crowded. Service was excellent. I do wish the food delivery folks didn't have to trek through the restaurant to pick up their delivery orders. They do a brisk delivery business so there was a constant flurry of persons in and out.

We really enjoyed this restaurant--tired after a long day of travelling, it was good Turkish comfort food. Our server was excellent--warm, personable, and professional. Another bonus is there is no corkage fee and they were very gracious in opening and serving the wine we brought.

We were late but had sent a text which waitress said they were too busy to check but we were seated anyway! There were many diners present but clearly you didn’t need a reservation. Service was good and were served quickly. We’d go again.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in the city. It's perfectly located for Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Broadway--close, but not so close that it's so packed with tourists that you can't get in.

Just a terrific place to have a delicious dinner! The service is also excellent. We started with a generous bowl of lentil soup, which was a perfect solution on this cold, wet night. For dinner, I had the Branzino, which was delicious. My husband had the chicken chops, which were moist and flavorful. We had a bottle of Turkish red wine, and a Turkish dessert- a sort of shredded wheat crust with sweet filling. We love this restaurant and visit whenever we’re in town.

My mother always said that comparisons are odious and in this case they are - the bread is nowhere near as good as it used to be - one of the main joys of going there - the olive oil now appears in the smallest container possible and if you ask for more, you are met with a bit of a scowl and the oil is nowhere as good as it used to be - the food portions seem to be half the size- they use the same large platter which used to be overflowing and now has a lot of empty space and the price is now comparable to other restaurants 35 or 36.95 is high for what you get especially since it used to be in the 20s but you can still take your own wine which si it's saving grace and still makes for a reasonable, affordable dinner out
