We had a wonderful pre-theatre Birthday dinner for my granddaughter at Barbetta located on Restaurant Row. We have always had a pleasant time and a great dinner at Barbetta. The room is spacious and comfortable. The pric fixe dinner had lots of choices and we all enjoyed our meal. The service is impeccable and Ramon, the Maitre d’ was very attentive, circulating around the room and making sure that everyone was having a great time.

It's wonderful that restaurants that have stood the test of time continue to exist in NYC. The food and service were classic and unobtrusive. The fixed menu offers a wonderful value. The only place I would recommend updates are the seating in the bar and the restaurant itself: the bar stools were a bit unforgiving, and the restaurant seats upstairs could be a bit softer. We're not as rugged as we used to be.

Many wonderful meals at this old world style restaurant. Akways great cuisine and impecable service. Ramon was our server once again and provided outstanding service. An eclectic menu sparsed with northern Italian favorites. The ambiance is straight out of the guilded age and in fact the premises was once John Astors private residence. An outside patio offers exceptional seating.

As always, this charming old restaurant delivers it all in food and service and quiet atmosphere. Staff is very attentive and the head waiter Ramon was very helpful.

The place is beautiful, very classy. The food was good. Sadly the service wasn’t. The servers were rude with us. Lack of patience to answer questions about the menu.

The food is divine, the atmosphere perfect - especially if you can sit on the spacious patio- and the staff is amazing. We used to go to Barbetta all the time when we lived in the area. Now we go back when we can - years apart at times - and the staff always treats us like we were just there yesterday and are their best customers. Then again, they treat everyone that way!

Wonderful experience! First time there and such an historic restaurant. Staff was amazing and the food was wonderful! What a great place to go before the theatre and so reasonably priced for a three-course pre-fix menu. Wonderful ambiance. Was perfect for our 20 year anniversary!
