   Amazing food, the server was fantastic. It was Dine Out Vancouver, which we were not doing, but we believe this might be why the restaurant was incredibly busy and why our service was slow. It took 3 hours for our table of six from time in to time out,

   It was my first time at The Victor and I loved everything about it!! It’s so modern and gorgeous inside the restaurant and outside where there’s a big pond with a fountain and a view of the top of BC Place. We had the Dine Out menu which was delicious and well presented. The service was impeccable with a lot of help from our waiter in choosing our wine and dishes. I want to go back there when the weather is better and sit on the patio. Well done, The Victor… but not my steak! 😃

   I’m not sure if it’s because it was a dine out menu because we were there for my bday in April and loved everything. The food this time was aver. The salmon had a good crisp to it however it was very salty. I really enjoyed the Aburi appetizer, the bread and the pomegranate drink. I don’t think I’ll be doing dine out again. I’ll go when it’s regular menu times

   The service was great and courteous! The steak was cook to our likings and sides (mashed potatoes, mushrooms, onion rings, peppercorn sauce) was amazing! One of the best steaks (porterhouse) in Vancouver!

   We were looking forward to trying a new restaurant during dine out Vancouver but were disappointed with the quality of the food. It wasn’t what we expected, especially considering dine out is an opportunity for restaurants to attract new customers so you would expect them to serve their best food. The service was great though. Not sure if we will give them another try.

   I had an easier time finding secret pizza at The Cosmopolitan, and it's hiding. But finding this place is just part of the adventure. The food is excellent, service impeccable (I thought service standards were sunk with covid, not here), very nice decor (as an avid reader and book collector the multiples of same books because they're green had me twitching), and great views. Not cheap but you get what you pay for! This will be a regular if we come back to Vancouver.

   Food was delicious and service was amazing. The cut of the steak could have been a little better as it was chewy; however, overall great experience. Waiter was knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. Would definitely come back again!

    Came here for DOV 2023 and this is what we had! Appetizer we had the lobster bisque and sushi aburi. Entree we had the steak Diane and salmon steak Dessert was only one choice and it was a cheesecake. Overall dishes were well presented and portions were good! But one thing is we found that it was quite salty and had to drink lots of water.

    Our waiter Matthew was fantastic. Very attentive, nice, respectful, and even went the extra mile to provide a complementary birthday cake slice. Something I didn't expect or anticipate.

    My partner and I both ordered the dine out menus. The food was SO salty, even the dessert tasted salty at the end. The plating of our same ordered food was so different and normally i wouldn't mind that. But my steak was literally on the edge of the plate like they accidentally dropped the steak and decided to go with it. The garnish for my steak was black burnt. Our server only came to check on us once at the end of the course meal (we almost forgot what he looked like) and still got 18% tip because there was no option to adjust. All the food was served by other employees which they sort of tossed on our table because they would walked away right away without any explanation. I ordered one diet coke and later on, one of the employees put down another coke as they were walking away. So we were confused but had NO ONE to ask since our server decided to never come by our table and all the other employees were not making eye contacts. We concluded that it must be a refill for my drink. We were charged for the second drink and surprisingly the server knew?. For a $65 course meal at a high level restaurant like this, the service and food lacked so much.

    I have been to the Victor so many times and have always had a great experience. This time was a bit different…..halfway through taking our order the waiter went to a different table to help someone else…. It made us feel pretty awkward. I’ve had that happen before at a dodgy restaurant but never would have thought this would happen at my favourite higher class restaurant. The food took forever. The food was good but the service was a bit disappointing

    Dining at Victor never disappoints. This occasion was during the dine out Vancouver event, which had incredible value. The quality of food and service was not affected by the dine out event. Wonderful staff and service. And a cute candy bar during Sunday breakfast brunch service to boot!

    When we made reservations, we specifically selected the dining room, but ended up in the heated patio. I understand the limited seating during dine out, but I think we should have been informed. Our table was also awkwardly placed between the patio doorway and pathway and very close to the tables next to us, so it was difficult for the server to come around our table as well. The food was ok, appeared to be sous vide and then seared prior to serving. The atmosphere was very loud, so great place for drinks.

    We went for Dine Out Vancouver. The food was excellent. Servers were polite and friendly. The noise level made it a bit difficult to have a conversation. Parking at the hotel was a bit of an issue, next time I'll take a cab or Uber.

    Ｗe went to Victor for the Vancouver Dine-out festival, the set was $65/person. We started with aburi salmon and lobster & crab bisque. Both appies are generous in portion and bursting with flavour. We had the Diane Steak for entrees; the steak was thick and well-cooked for medium and medium rare. The dessert was indulgent but not overly sweet. The server was attentive and friendly. Overall, Victor was exceptional even during dine-out. I highly recommend people to try the Victor. They were detail-oriented and provided outstanding quality food, and excellent service. I would go back for regular dining!

    We made a reservation for dine out, but they took a while to seat us. The restaurant was full. Our appetizers came out way before the bread, they were mediocre but not bad. The restaurant reeked of wax candles so badly giving me a headache and making me want to leave. Our steaks took a while to come out were supposed to be medium rare but were medium well instead and quite dry. Not juicy at all. The few vegetables that came with the dish weren’t very good and seemed out of place with the steaks. The dessert was yummy and a big portion. Our waiter was good. There were a few tables next to us that were pretty loud and shouting, possibly drunk

    Overall average experience. Our table of 8 were all seated by 545pm ordered at 6pm but did not receive our entrees until 730pm. We were seated for a total of 3 hours and were getting annoyed by the end. The servers were friendly but seemed flustered by the busyness. Locations and views were incredible. Good tasting food (steak & sushi) but small portions and the majority of us agreed overpriced, especially the drinks. It was an overall average experience, glad we went but wouldn’t go back.

    When I walked in, the candy station was semi empty, but the decor inside was very nice. My reso was for 1.30pm, but I didn't get sat until 1.50ish. I stood around waiting and went to grab some left over candy but there was no plates so I had to ask the hostess for some and she said she couldn't leave the stand so I'll just have to wait. We got sat right by the furnace heater, which was extremely hot. I asked for it to be turned off and it was for a minute but the table across us (further away from the heater) kept asking for it to be turned on. I asked to be moved to a different table and was told no. My friend and I were so hot during our whole experience, and it wasnt comfortable. The waffles were delicious, Ceasars were a great concept BYO. Our main dishes took over 1 hour and 25 minutes to be brought out. Our server kept apologizing and telling us it was coming. Because we had to wait so long, we asked for our desserts to go because you guys were closing and I had another engagement at 5pm. I asked for my steak to be medium, it came out well done and was extremely hard to cut. I honestly expexted a better experience for what we paid and for the reputation and brand you represent. All in all, it was okay. We did have to wait almost 10 minutes for our server to even welcome us and give us water after being sat, but his service improved throughout the dinning experience and he was more attentive after after being short with us at first.

    Hands down the worst dining experience I've ever had. Service was extremely slow, and the food, once received, was either under or overcooked. For a brunch reservation, our drink order wasn't taken until 45 minutes after we sat down, and the entire process of eating took upwards of 2.5 hours. Our server also made some strange comments about the quantity of food we were eating. Specifically saying "wow, you must be really hungry - I couldn't ever eat all of that in one sitting". After voicing our concerns to our server, they offered to bring the manager over to our table, who never showed up. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant dining experience and I wouldn't recommend The Victor to anyone.

    The ambience was lovely & enjoyed the Dine Out Vancouver preset brunch menu. I returned my Bananas Foster French Toast because it was raw inside. They brought me a new order but my party had almost finished their meals. They should have comped my meal or at the very least given a discount.

    Meal was great ! Did off the menu and dine out Vancouver. Good value for the dine out menu. They did forget the bacon in our bacon and eggs . The manager made a sad attempt at an apology not very authentic or friendly in his approach or demeanour. Our waiter was a great guy served us well and checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal and cleared plates quickly. Ps. The Pomegranate/Raspberry mimosa is yummy
